I had stayed in Hotel Vile Park in 2019 too. I was glad to stay in there at that time as well. But this time was excellent! All rooms renewed and looks great.Our rooms are very comfortable and large and its name is lavender room. Breakfast, view, location,staff were perfect and staff were very helpful and kind. You can go to Piran by a shuttle that is free and the shuttle schedule in every 15 mins. (But you must walk from the hotel to Piran especially sunset hours).We will be back soon! Thank you Hotel Vile Park!

We got a very nice family room with a good view on the first floor, very close to the restaurant. Breakfast and dinner were very good every day, there was a wide variety of tasty food to choose from and very friendly staff. Hotel Apollo is close to the beach but in a quiet location without noise. We used the swimming pools of the LifeClass Hotels and the beach. I would highly recommend Hotel Apollo for couples as well as families. There's an indoor playground near the reception.

The excellent choice we made. The best I would say was the staff. Everyone is so professional; people here know how to do their work. Sometimes, when you stay in these more prominent branded hotels, the staff acts confused; this hotel was the case here. I loved every communication I had in the hotel. Genuine welcome, a genuine smile makes one feel cosy and warm. Breakfast included a few extra vegan products, like ajvar or humus; I know the buffet was probably based on supply and demand, but there were few of us there. Also, plant milk was available, but one needs to ask; again, no problem at all, but if you do not ask, you do not know whether it is available. The swimming pool and mineral salts in the swimming pool were excellent. I did not plan this, but it healed my inflamed joint and carpal tunnel. Thanks for this. :) And location, I mean, not much to say except that we made an excellent choice and cannot wait to return. We liked it so much that we also invited my parents to join us over the weekend. They loved it, too, and they are already planning when to come again. Cafe Central is also great.

Slovenia’s Adriatic Spa Resort

Portorož is the most popular beach resort on Slovenia’s small but undulating coastline. It was first developed as a health resort and several spas remain. The largest is the Terme & Wellness LifeClass Portorož, offering treatments using local products such as salt pan mud, seawater and thermal mineral water.

The huge complex is surrounded by some of the 4 and 5-star hotels available on Booking.com. Nearby is the Hotel Kempinski Palace, a historic property built in 1910 as a retreat for Austro-Hungarian officials. Other Portorož accommodation options include guest houses with pools and beachfront apartments.

The beaches are of course why most people come. The main, sandy beach is awash with colourful parasols in summer, while offshore watersports include diving and water skiing. Boat trips from the marina sail along the coast and even to Venice and Trieste in Italy.

As the temperature cools down, the nightlife heats up as people start hitting the bars and clubs. Several casinos also provide another way to spend some time…and money, and there are also relaxed restaurants where you can enjoy the sunset.

Portorož Airport is just south of the city and in the opposite direction is Piran whose Venetian old town spread over a promontory provides a more cultural offering.

Portorož is a great destination for a mid-winter holiday. There are plenty of interesting walks, like along the beach promenade, and excellent restaurants close to the hotel we stayed at (the Boutique Hotel). Every place we went to was very pet-friendly.

Strategically located hotel halfway between Piran and the centre of Portorož. The furnishings are somewhat older, but for families with older children the option of booking a Standard Family Room- two interconnected double rooms- is perfect. The buffet breakfasts and dinners at Histrion Hotel exceeded our expectations – half board is highly recommended. Guests can use the outdoor pool free of charge; sunbeds and umbrellas by the sea are paid, but this is clearly stated. Indoor pool and wellness are a nice bonus in case of bad weather.

This was the best hotel we had on our whole vacation. The service is exceptionell, The view and the location perfect. We liked it so much, that we extended our stay another night. We had some special wishes but the staff was very helpful with everything. If you look for a nice hotel in Portoroz, go stay here!

Everything was spectacular!!! First time in Slovenia .. this hotel in particular made our trip very special. The Spa … the breakfast… the staff .. the services … the rooms .. the restaurant… the cocktails lounge .. All was incredible.. Highly recommend it !
