We received a basket with delicious local produce for breakfast. The accommodation is modern, spacious and has an alpine atmospheric feeling. Parking is free and the river with gorges and walking/cycling trails are close by. The e-bikes available onsite were fun to cycle with along the exceptionally scenic soča river

Apartment was not an apartment but an entire house, perfectly equipped and very cozy and comfy. All very very good! Bed and pillows comfortable, heating you can turn on/off as you want, where you want..a lot of windows with veneziane and a lot of peace.. beautiful mountains surrounding..walk near river which ends to Soča, perfect for dogs... Barbara who is the owner, super kind! she allowed us woth dogs with no problem. The perfect stay!!

We spent just one night at Hiša Planica but were welcomed like family by the host. She showed us the apartment, gave hiking hints in the neighbourhood and offered us a refreshing home made lemonade. The next morning we were offered home-made pancakes for breakfast. The apartment was comfortable, with all necessary stuff. A very nice detail left us in awe: a blanket shaped as heart on our bed :) This was a truly memorable experience on the last day of our 10-day holidays.

Would decently recommend coming here!

Would decently recommend coming here! The nature is supreme and the air is so clean. There are a lot of hiking trails and all of them are very interesting. Staff wore very responsive, and the food is great.

The newer chalets (3-4 years old) are better and less tired...

The newer chalets (3-4 years old) are better and less tired but there are design faults (e.g. steep stairs, plumbing problems). The restaurant is very over-priced compared to Ljubliana or nearby restaurants so worth walking down the drive to the nearby hotel/camp site which has a good and friendly restaurant. Lots of lovely walks and would probably suit keen cyclists too.
