We were on tour and stayed at Kostanjevica 3 nights to relax before we continued our trip. We could have stayed longer: beautiful peaceful village, really friendly host helping us out with tips and everything we needed. Canoes and bicycles directly at location at a very fair price. Everything very clean and new. Beautiful old cave just a short walk from the apartment. We really enjoyed the stay! (even kids liked it here because of canoe trips and swimming and didn’t ask for screen time ;-))

We had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed everything about this place. The hosts were very polite and took the time to explain everything clearly, which made us feel welcome right away. The surrounding nature is beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing. Inside, the accommodation is modern, well designed, and very comfortable. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

A beautiful house, very spacious and provided lots of games for our children. We booked last minute as our campsite in Austria was flooded and the owners were so kind and accommodating. We only stayed a night but I can highly recommend.

An extraordinary place.

An extraordinary place. The village is partly located on an island, the streets and houses have retained their authentic appearance. It's as if you've entered a completely different world. All recommendations. You must visit the Bozidar Jakac Gallery. An exceptional museum in a renovated monastery, located in beautiful nature. Also, if you come in summer, you can swim in the Krka river.

Kostanjevica is very interesting because of its location on an island and the nearby gallery in a former monastery. It is beautifully landscaped, but the Krka River is underutilized. There are too few access points to the water. It is a pity that the guesthouse and pastry shop are not by the water. The catering offer is unreliable: sometimes it happens that there is no guesthouse where you can go for lunch.

Kostanjevica na Krki is a very lovely little town that...

Kostanjevica na Krki is a very lovely little town that offers great opportunities for walks, both longer and shorter. There is an excellent Božidar Jakac Museum nearby, which I highly recommend visiting. The Forma Viva park is also interesting. There are many other things nearby that I ran out of time for.

A beautiful place, full of natural and cultural beauty, also as a starting point for trips to the surrounding areas. The town could have better infrastructure (cafe, pastry shop, bakery??? and better bus connections).
