This property has 2 flats and as a group of 4 we rented both. Lovely modern bright apartments in the little village of Dolenje Jezero near Cerknica. We were surprised at how large the apartment was, very well equipped and great value for money. Our hosts were really kind and helpful and on hand for any queries. There is a lot of cycling and walking around here with great cycle tracks around the lake. We were there primarily to see the intermittent lakes and the local wild flowers. The lake was very full as there had been so much rain in May, it would be interesting to see what it looks like in the summer when it has all drained into the karst system below. There is a lot to do in the surrounding area and we could have stayed longer than 2 nights.

Quiet, peaceful area. The apartment is separated, comfortable, well equipped, it was ideal for the two of us. The air conditioning is especially useful since the apartment is in the attic. You get what you see in the pictures, no foul play. Parking is in front of the house. All our destinations were reachable within 1 - 1.5 hours (Izola+Piran, Vintgar Gorge+Bled, Prdejama castle, Vršič pass) Would have been useful for us: a small microwave, mosquito net.

Cerknica is nothing impressive, it has some charms of many other small Slovenian towns, but nothing to be especially remembered for. But as a start point for interesting and beautiful sightseeing and adventures it can be considered one of the best in (and not limited to) Slovenia.

This apartment has anything you could need. It is fully furnished with a full kitchen and bathroom. My dog and I had a fantastic stay over new years! The host is the sweetest and made sure we were well taken care of! The town itself is very small and cute, and it is within driving distance of the capital and the famous Slovenian caves! Thank you again!

Quite place, in the middle of nature. Urban and his family are very kind, good advices for trails. Great local food. Urban’s mother is a great cook. Marvellous breakfast and outstanding dinner. We just loved it. Just caring people, we enjoyed our first stay in Slovenia so much. We stayed there 5 days. A belgian family ( 5 persons)

Breakfast was generous and the staff was very attentive to us, even making extra cappuccinos after serving us surprise Slovenian Easter cakes. It is also possible to buy dinner and get drinks for a great price.
