FAQs about hotels in Singapore

Asia in a Compact Package

Clean, compact and compelling, Singapore seamlessly combines the best of Asia. Different cultures and cuisines live side by side, whilst maintaining their own identity.

Behind the bright lights of Chinatown is great value dim sum, while Little India is a sensation for the senses. Wander past the pastel-painted facades of Malay-dominated Geylang Seari for a taste of days gone by, then stop off at the Colonial-style Raffles Hotel, birthplace of the Singapore Sling cocktail.

For a retreat from the hustle and bustle, take the cable car to the sandy beaches of Sentosa, an island just south of the city centre. Also here is Universal Studios Singapore, a theme park brimming with the magic of the movies.

As you’d expect from the host of the world’s only Formula 1 night race, once night falls, Singapore is still very much alive. Its Night Safari is a zoo offering the rare chance to see nocturnal animals going about their business.

Although small enough to see on foot, Singapore has an efficient public transport system which extends as far as Singapore Changi Airport. With a choice of Singapore accommodation ranging from budget hostels to luxury hotels, Booking.com is bound to have the right choice for your holiday.

What a lovely clean and safe city.

What a lovely clean and safe city. The train system is amazing for getting around, including to and from the airport if you only have a single roller bag each. We had two teenagers with us and they coped well. The zoo was brilliant...so big and heaps of animals, jump on the tram to make your walking less at the zoo if needed. Marina Bay Sands and Garden by the bay were stunning both during the day and night. Its best to go mid afternoon and see the lights at night. Singapore shops do not open until 10am which is fine for late starts when you are tired from the day before haha. The Grab system for travelling via cars is also very easy to navigate, but be mindful at the cost from the airport if you have extra luggage. It didnt give me an option for more the 2 large bags so had to pay extra to the driver which was a bit annoying (around $70 in total)..we ended up using the train back to the airport for a small fee of around $2.30 each, so saved big time. We went on the cable car across to Santos island, that was worth it, but was under whelmed by Madame Tussauds just because we didnt know half of the famous people and the exhibits were quite musty smelling. The 4D movie at the end was fun though. We liked the war history of the island which involved quite a bit of walking. It started pouring with rain so the luge closed which meant we could go on that, so we cut out time short and just headed back on the cable car which was fun in the rain too. Make sure you pack an umbrella as there is rain most days, didnt stop us adventuring out. The Gardens by the bay domes were amazing!!! a must see! We also went to pay our respects to the fallen soldiers at Kanji War Memorial for remembrance day, but we went a day early as we had work commitments on 11/11th. It was a warm walk from the station. We will go back to Singapore as there is still so much to do and see.

We have been coming to Singapore now for over 20 years and its like a second home to us. Just a 5hr flight from Perth WA is like flying from Perth to Brisbane. Singapore is both Clean and Safe at night and during the day. No Graffiti, and where ever you go its pristine. If you choose to go out into the country area you tend to go back in time a little so be prepared. Their underground train system is superb and inexpensive, just get a ticket once down there load it up by using either cash or card machines ( from S$10 ) There are tellers office down there if you get stuck. Singapore is very vibrant always changing , it never stands still so you can guarantee a top vacation.

Singapore is such a convenient and clean place.

Singapore is such a convenient and clean place. All the sights and attractions are relatively close by, and the infrastructure is impressive. Merlion is charming, and Marina Bay is truly stunning. It’s easy to get around with the MRT and Grab taxis, but also walkable if you prefer to explore the various places in detail. The humidity here is no joke though, but there are plenty of indoor places with AC and station stops around. The food options are diverse, and the people here are generally courteous and efficient. Singapore is a great option for a quick getaway or a stopover, and shouldn’t be overlooked.

Visiting SG in 2025 is not worth choice when other asian destinations like Dubai, Bahrain, Doha, Thailand, Veitnam have developed in tourism with less expesive n better facility in travel n accomdation compaired to SG. SG is a one time visit destination to cover the the entusiasm they promote their tourism in medias. Lot of location like Little India, Buggy street, etc they close by 10.00pm or before as per the store owners will, many stores are not curstomer friendly as if they arrongantely speak out dont waste their time if you are not buying anything. Taxi people are also not friendly to talk as if we casually ask them to recommend local visit places & they will respond not ineterested to talk apart from the taxi trip destination n most may be on hand free calls while driving as if they treat us like using discount card for those taxis. Even one taxi told every working class singaporeans are living on stress, dont speak to them as if we are in vacation mood. Most singaporeans look us like immigrants trying to grab PR n citizen somehow as the most indian n chinese people has gone thorough the way to become now the prejudice Singaporeans.

An excellent hotel in a great location! Many attractions are within walking distance, making it perfect for exploring the city. The room was well-equipped and offered a stunning view of both the city skyline and lush greenery, creating a jungle-like atmosphere. The gym and swimming pools with city views were outstanding, and the unique walking path around the hotel added to the experience. In my opinion, this is one of the best hotels in Singapore—highly recommended!

This is a great hotel. Although it may not have all the facilities of some of the bigger hotels in Singapore, it ticked all the boxes for us. The room was spacious, clean and very comfrotable and the staff were particularly helpful. Furthermore the hotel is located in an intersting part of Singapore, a bit away from the more toursity areas but still within easy access to transport and great local neighbourhood restaurants. Excellent Wi-Fi.

ROOM; Very nice room. Spacious and bright with a balcony facing East: towards the sea and has the Mandarin Oriental, Marina Bay Sands in view. Comfortable beds with nice pillows. DRINKING WATER/FILTER TAP: There is a filter tap for drinking water in the bathroom. We appreciated this very much instead of a small electric hot (boiling water) & cold water machine like in a few hotels in Singapore. The whole idea defeats the purpose.

One of the most unique hotels in Singapore, with a large expanse of land. The lush green golfing landscape was soothing to look at from our Pool View room. The extremely long pool was obviously the highlight, and we loved swimming in it, especially with it being peak summer. The hotel staff were generally very nice - shout out to the hotel manager Bhuvan.
