This was one of the best experiences I have ever had in a hotel. The building itself is quite normal, and the rooms are rather small. However, everything is very lovingly furnished and very meaningful and friendly renovated. The total friendliness of the staff is impressive. In addition to breakfast, there was a small afternoon snack and a lovely evening buffet. Not large, but lovingly prepared and tasty. The breakfast was also very lovingly prepared and well thought out. The beds and rooms were perfectly fine, and there was parking in the back courtyard for a small extra charge. All in all, when I'm in Trollhättan, I'll be coming back

Great breakfast and we liked the style of the place. Staff were really friendly. A great base to have a day's hike in the nearby Ecopark. Sadly for us we didn't see any live elk, but we had a nice time anyway.

We did a whistle-stop tour of Trollhattan in the evenings of the 3 days we were working and on the morning of the day we travelled back. In that time we fell under the spell of the place. If you like industrial heritage and water combined with nature and clean fresh air, this is the place for you. Travelling in late may we found the temperature to be about 2 degrees C under our Lancashire temperatures for the same period. The place is spotlessly clean. We enjoyed the bridges, of which there are many, the Saab museum and the forests on the mountains were amazing, with an awesome view over the valley to the massive lake that you would think could be an ocean.

One of my favorite cities in Sweden.

One of my favorite cities in Sweden. The lock complex is super interesting and there is so much to wander around. The complex is huge! Also it is really nice to have the nature directly next to the river and thus have the historical heritage and the nature close to each other.

Centrally located right next to the river. Nice and clean. Comfortable beds, good breakfast. Free parking on the road if you want, otherwise there is a parking garage on the other side of the road. Unfortunately no charging stations, but there were several options in town

A very beautiful city on the canal… Unfortunately, Vattenfall now only releases water in a controlled manner. We were unlucky enough to have it happen at night 😒 We are disappointed with Vattenfall, as it is such a tourist attraction.

Beautiful nature around the river and easy to get around on paths. There is guaranteed to be much more to see than we managed. The pedestrian street was a bit closed, maybe due to bad weather. Mega large shopping center a little outside the city (Etage). Drove towards Borås further, great trip.

We had a pleasant stay at the hotel.

We had a pleasant stay at the hotel. A lovely, extensive breakfast buffet. We ate dinner on the first night. The menu was delicious, even with the vegan option, everything was fine. The area around the hotel is beautiful. Nice, quiet rooms. One negative: we would have liked a fridge in the room.

You rarely go to a chain hotel and have the feeling it's a family business, but it's the case here. Everyone is genuinely friendly. The dinner buffet (included in the price we booked) is simple and tasty. There are tea facilities in the room as well as bottomless coffee in the lobby, along with pastry. The breakfast buffet is large and tasty. All in all a calm, friendly, warm atmosphere. Thanks, BW Trollhättan staff, we will carry with us fond memories of your hospitality.

Lovely hotel. The rooms are in the building right next door and the room was so lovely with a great view over the river, really liked it. Easy 5 minute walk into town over 3 small bridges over the river which was very pretty. A number of restaurants by the river to choose from. The bed was very comfortable, great bathroom and overall decoration. Easy to park the car right outside, Highly recommended.

It’s a very nice property, I did not read before but I suspended to learn it’s a former church turned into a hotel. The place is very quiet and peaceful. It’s in a nice area of the town. I especially loved the walk through the little forest to get to the city center. I liked the idea of socialising with other guests that were in the house.

We loved this hotel. It had alot of history and a personal touch. The staff were very attentive and wecoming. It was warm and friendly, beds were comfortable, all very clean. The staff were charming and the breakfast was delicious. We will aim to stay there again if we re-visit in the future.
