Location in downtown was excellent, close to bus and train, as well as supermarket and dining facilities. Breakfast was well rounded including bread, cereal, fruits and warm meat. Personnel was kind, friendly and helpful, able to advice me on locations to visit. They also have free local maps for those that want to find their own way. Room had all basic facilities like a bed, desk, closet and bathroom, as well as some more advanced like a hairdryer and fridge.

The staff was great and accommodating, very friendly team during breakfast. Efficient help. My room was located on the south east corner of the building which made it perfect for air circulation. Very clean. Could have had a deeper cleaning when the room was serviced, but not bad.

From arriving to the hotel after losing my purse on the plane to leaving the staff went above and beyond to help me whilst I sorted out paying them due to not having any bank cards which were in my lost purse they let me stay until my money transfer went through. They were always helpful at reception and always had a smile whenever I entered reception. The breakfast was fine and catered for everyone and the staff at breakfast were amazing. The cleaners were amazing too. Anything I needed help with everyone went above and beyond to help me. I couldn't ask for a better stay and can't wait to come back next year.

despite the size of the bedroom, it is very clean and comfortable. The self-service breakfast is excellent with all products available and very high quality. The wifi is very good. There is free parking in front of the building. The owners were very kind and allowed us for early/late checkout. 1h hour driving from Gotemburg.

Good location near the lake. Good modern facilities with restaurant and gym. Restaurant was closed on the day we booked but a free cold buffet was provided which was much appreciated. Karin in reception was very helpful and friendly . Large car park

We did a whistle-stop tour of Trollhattan in the evenings of...

We did a whistle-stop tour of Trollhattan in the evenings of the 3 days we were working and on the morning of the day we travelled back. In that time we fell under the spell of the place. If you like industrial heritage and water combined with nature and clean fresh air, this is the place for you. Travelling in late may we found the temperature to be about 2 degrees C under our Lancashire temperatures for the same period. The place is spotlessly clean. We enjoyed the bridges, of which there are many, the Saab museum and the forests on the mountains were amazing, with an awesome view over the valley to the massive lake that you would think could be an ocean.

One of my favorite cities in Sweden.

One of my favorite cities in Sweden. The lock complex is super interesting and there is so much to wander around. The complex is huge! Also it is really nice to have the nature directly next to the river and thus have the historical heritage and the nature close to each other.

The Albert is one of few hotels in the little town of Trollhättan. It is very well known in the region for its excellent restaurant and that draws a lot of hotel guests as well who combine dinner with a night away. If you don t own a car, it's a bit steep up the hill to get there and in wintertime it can be slippery. The rooms are very nicely equipped. They should upgrade to smart TV's to keep those four stars nowadays. The breakfast is very nice, the view is excellent from that hill.

It was a nice place to stay, it was 7mins walk from the 22 bus to the centre and the 22 bus could be joined at rhe railway station for the return journey. The kitchen was well equipped and was ideal place to meet and talk with other people. Would definitely stay there again the next time I travel to Trollhättan.

The Best Western is very central in Trollhättan and very convenient if you visit relatives what I do from time to time. It is very close to Drottning Square in downtown. Room was clean, small, but absolutely good for a night. Price was well affordable and for Swedish hotels really very good.
