Breakfast was a self service buffet with great range of food types, both hot and cold. There was more than enough food to totally stuff your face as if it was your last meal on planet Earth and get fat. Location was great, near the centre, with main bus station, taxi stand and all other amenities nearby. (😁).

I had really good experience with everything. The room including private bathroom was very clean, staff were very welcoming, kind and helpful. I asked for early check-in and a bit late check-out because of the flight hours and they were very helpful with it. So, if there is availability, they'll definitely help you :) The breakfast was really good, they have more options than my expectation and it was pretty nice. Also, you have free access to coffee and tea 7/24 hours :)

We spent 3 nights in this very comfortable and spacious apartment. Well equipped kitchen and great to have washing machine and dryer. Wi-Fi connection, much appreciated. Beautiful location next to the river, calm and relaxing. Would definitely recommend this apartment.

Skellefteå is a town with an intriguing history.

Skellefteå is a town with an intriguing history. A pretty town on the banks of a large river. The view across the river of the beautiful main church has been obscured by an ugly multi-story parking garage. Who thought up that damaging action? The town is currently in the grips of street optimization. The narrowing of the main East-West street, is questionable and will soon cause traffic congestion. The station is still in place, but no rail traffic goes there apart from goods !! The infrastructure around the railway and station needs to be optimized and take advantage of the existence of a rail link to the rest of Sweden and the outside World.

I stayed 5 days, mid September, for a conference and had...

I stayed 5 days, mid September, for a conference and had some free time. When it wasn't raining, I enjoyed beautiful walks along the river (4 hour circuit), and I ran to the coast (12 km away), and through forestry roads. Easy returns by public transport as the busses are frequent and accept credit card. I did not need Swedish money at all during my stay. The town museum is a must see, even if small, and you should visit the historical part of town, which is nearby. I confess to only having eaten asian food while in town. I did not identify a restaurant with Swedish food, which I would have liked to try.

The hotel is really amazing and cosy. I love all wooden elements and details, in the room I could even smell the wood. Breakfast is excellent, a lot of local products, many options to choose from. The room was very clean and pleasant. The stuff is helpful and friendly. The hotel stuff cares about the environment what is important for me. Definately the place worth staying.

Hotel staff was polite and trying to provide all the information about services offered by the hotel. I didn't use but there was free coffee, microwave and cluttery for those who buy food from outside. Breakfast in the morning was reach and at the first floor there's a restaurant with very good service and food. Location is excellent.
