We were looking for a summer week in Sälen to look around in...

We were looking for a summer week in Sälen to look around in nature. Visit Lindvallen, the mountain church and a cafe where you could get coffee and waffles etc. We did that. One day we went along the Wasaloppsspåret to Mora and visited the Zorn museum, as well as Nusnäs. One day we ate in the Restaurant in Lima which is in honor of Sixten Jernberg. We also participated and experienced "Sälen Day" in Sälen

We were there in the summer and were thrilled by the scenery...

We were there in the summer and were thrilled by the scenery. Forests, rivers, lakes – everything you could want for hiking. It's also very well-suited for anglers. However, anyone planning a summer visit should bear in mind that this is a ski resort and not all shops in the immediate vicinity are open during the summer months.

I thought it was very good that all the restaurants were...

I thought it was very good that all the restaurants were closed. The lift pass was broken so we had to go in and out of the shop to fix this, a bit annoying that you can't just check it on site, hard to walk with small children back and forth when I was alone.

I had an exceptional 3-day stay at the cabin in Salen. The cleanliness was impeccable; not a single hair on the floor, ensuring a pristine and comfortable environment. The value for money was outstanding, exceeding expectations with every penny spent. Convenient parking right in front of the cabin added to the overall ease of our stay. Additionally, the proximity to the ski bus, just a 10-meter walk away, made our winter adventures effortlessly accessible. Highly recommended for a memorable and hassle-free getaway.

Everything was excellent. The room was very clean, well equipped (kettle, pots, pans, coffee machine, towels, cleaning supplies, shoe warmer etc.), and comfortable. Location is also fantastic, close to both Sälen and Kläppen, as well as many cross-country tracks. Breakfast was very good, and the host very accommodating. We will absolutely return here when in the area. Thank you, Thomas!

Great location to explore everything that Sälen mountains have to offer. The accommodation was really impressive; it was spacious, modern and clean throughout and had everything we needed, including being dog-friendly. It is in a unique location steeped in history which makes it even more special. Thanks Magnus for a great stay!

Super friendly and helpful staff, room was comfy and clean. Especially for a family with toddler we were offered a room on the main floor which made it easy to travel in-out from the hotel. Hotel has very nice restaurant for breakfast and evening dinner (pre-booking is advised)
