We were travelling over to Gothenburg so this was a great...

We were travelling over to Gothenburg so this was a great little stop over town en route. We visited the motor museum (which was actually rather good) and took a walk around the waterfront. Some nice bistros and eateries there, all you would need for a short stay. We sadly missed the broadcasting/radio museum nearby as it was closed. The town square itself is nice but there are a quite a few more modern buildings that look a little brutal. We moved on to Vadstena which was a short drive away and a fantastic place to visit. All in all Motala is a great base and to drive to lots of attractions in the surrounding areas. Thumbs up!

The hotel is very nice, our room was comfortable and the breakfast was OK. The best and the most attractive feature for our family, however, was the Motor Museum which is directly connected to the hotel and the museum entry is included in the room price. Our family found the museum very interesting - we would have visited the museum anyway, but it was very cool to be able to spend the night right there and look at the exhibitions both in the evening and in the morning.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel with all the support and help from lady who works at the front desk. Especially when we had some urgent issues, she’s got all the patience and made effort to help us. We really appreciate it!

Very clean and new place. Perfect for our short stay in Motala. The beautiful beach Varamon is just a few minutes walk from the house. Perfect for a family/friends of 4, a little bit small for 6 people. Overall a very nice place!

Nice location right next to Göta Canal, on the interesting Factory Island of Motala. Nice, spacious room with good ventilation and guest parking right outside. Interesting building.
