So quiet. Mariefred is a very nice little village and this hotel is in the middle of it. 5 minutes walk to the castle, 1 minute to a grocery store, book store etc and cafes. The room was clean and cozy with windows that could be opened. I took my morning smoke 50 steps away, on a bench looking out over the water and the castle, (attached pic)

Fantastic location at the heart of Mariefred. Excellent room and add-on bicycles to roam around Mariefred. A perfect cosy homely atmosphere for a relaxing weekend with family next to Gripsholm castle and the Järnvägsstation. Look forward to staying again here. Loved it very much. Thank you.

We loved this hotel and would definitely like to visit again! Very welcoming and homely and we had a delicious dinner outside. We were lucky with the weather and there were plenty of sofas and garden seating to just sit and enjoy the views of the lake and castle.

Beautiful surroundings with a view of Gripsholm Castle and Lake Mälaren. Large shared room with a well-equipped kitchen. A rich buffet breakfast in a hotel 500m away - a pleasant morning walk. Poetic city Mariefred offers lovely evening walks.
