Beautiful hotel, very well designed, you feel like you are in someone's beautiful mansion and you can really imagine how the family that owned it lived and used it. Very homey and authentic. Every detail is taken care of. Great restaurant and amazing breakfast.

I have been coming here for 16 years. You are always greeted with a smile from the ladies who run the hotel. Location is convenient, the rooms are comfortable and breakfast has always been great.

This property is beautifully located in the centre of Trollhättan, by the canal waterfront. Scandic Swania was built in the early 1900s as a city hall.

The staff was great and accommodating, very friendly team during breakfast. Efficient help. My room was located on the south east corner of the building which made it perfect for air circulation. Very clean. Could have had a deeper cleaning when the room was serviced, but not bad.

This was one of the best experiences I have ever had in a hotel. The building itself is quite normal, and the rooms are rather small. However, everything is very lovingly furnished and very meaningful and friendly renovated. The total friendliness of the staff is impressive. In addition to breakfast, there was a small afternoon snack and a lovely evening buffet. Not large, but lovingly prepared and tasty. The breakfast was also very lovingly prepared and well thought out. The beds and rooms were perfectly fine, and there was parking in the back courtyard for a small extra charge. All in all, when I'm in Trollhättan, I'll be coming back

Although not manned over the midsummer festivities, the upfront information and arrangements allowed easy access and a breakfast was prepared and left in our name.
