We stayed in this lovely little rental house for three weeks in December 2025 and were very satisfied with both the accommodation and the hospitality. The house was cozy, clean, and well equipped, making it easy to feel at home for a longer stay. Everything worked well, and the space was comfortable and practical. The hosts were especially wonderful—very kind, welcoming, and accommodating. They were easy to communicate with and always helpful whenever we had questions or needed anything, while still fully respecting our privacy. Overall, it was a great experience, and we truly enjoyed our stay. We would happily recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay, and we would not hesitate to return ourselves

We had a fantastic time at this gem of a location. Three of us stayed in a room and stopped off there for two nights as part of a road trip through Sweden. The staff were kind and helpful and indulged me when I wanted to practice Swedish! The facilities were great, it's by far the best camping/hostel I've been to. It wasn't overly busy either which makes for a nice relaxing getaway. There were many options at the buffet breakfast and a kitchen that you can also use. The weather was nice so we were able to enjoy breakfast outdoors overlooking the neighbouring horse farm. We arrived late at night [midnight] (and saw a moose by the road just as you get off the main road and into the village!) and the keys had been left for us inside our allocated room, as previously explained on the phone. The beds are comfortable and the communal showers were also very clean and well maintained. Overall, a faultless stay- thank you so much!

This hotel is situated on Trollhättan's main shopping street, Kungsgatan. Homemade biscuits and treats are offered for free in the afternoon with tea/coffee.

Location in downtown was excellent, close to bus and train, as well as supermarket and dining facilities. Breakfast was well rounded including bread, cereal, fruits and warm meat. Personnel was kind, friendly and helpful, able to advice me on locations to visit. They also have free local maps for those that want to find their own way. Room had all basic facilities like a bed, desk, closet and bathroom, as well as some more advanced like a hairdryer and fridge.

This property is beautifully located in the centre of Trollhättan, by the canal waterfront. Scandic Swania was built in the early 1900s as a city hall.

The staff was great and accommodating, very friendly team during breakfast. Efficient help. My room was located on the south east corner of the building which made it perfect for air circulation. Very clean. Could have had a deeper cleaning when the room was serviced, but not bad.

Home Hotel Kung Oscar is a charming hotel located in a calm area of Trollhättan near the railway station, Göta Älv and waterfalls. A light evening buffet is included for guests.

The cleaning staff was the best ever. They were so kind and helpful and showed us where to get boilers for coffee and gave us directions. We met them outside our rooms while they were cleaning and their service level gave us the impression of a high quality hotel. They should be promoted as receptionists.

This hotel is on Strömsberg Hill, 10 minutes’ walk from Trollhättan’s main street, Storgatan. It offers fine dining and rooms with terraces overlooking the courtyard, garden or Göta Älv river.
