Gallivare is a mining town and in itself not particularly...
Gallivare is a mining town and in itself not particularly interesting for holiday takers but it provides good transport options to several of the national parks in the region.
It is possible to make some nice walks in the immediate vicinity of the town but these alone are not a reason to travel there.

Excellent hotel, next to the railway station. New hotel, everything tip top, clean and comfortable.
I had a good night's sleep, followed by a good breakfast. All the staff were excellent. Good hotel, if you are traveling in the Inlandsbahn, which is highly recommended.

It's very close to the railway station (though Gallivare is hardly big). Check-in was easy, even though I arrived very late. Breakfast was fine, nothing special but perfectly reasonable. The few staff I met were very friendly.

Pleasant hotel about 15 mins walk from the railway station. Check in staff were exceptional.
