Gallivare is a mining town and in itself not particularly...
Gallivare is a mining town and in itself not particularly interesting for holiday takers but it provides good transport options to several of the national parks in the region.
It is possible to make some nice walks in the immediate vicinity of the town but these alone are not a reason to travel there.

This hotel will do. But the price I paid, 210 for a double room single occupancy, shows the shortage of hotels in Gällivare.
In Umeå you pay 70-80.
