From our first interaction on the beach at Cote D’or, orientation, check out and everything in between, this is a magnificent group of people. We were greeted by a welcome drink on arrival and also given details of sights to visit and how to get around the island by taxi or bus. All the staff were so nice especially Mr Bilal. My husband’s phone was giving us a problem and he sorted it out for us which was so nice!! Our room was very comfortable. King size bed and very comfortable with lovely soft bed linen and spotlessly clean. Plenty of fresh towels and also beach towels supplied for a small deposit which was refunded on last day. Bathrooms very spacious with plenty of hot water, toiletries and a hair dryer. Hotel 100m from the beautiful Cote D’Or Beach. Dining Room literally on the beach and the food was very acceptable and included different buffets each evening . You could also choose from the A La Carte menu .

First and most: the service. We were greeted by a pleasant team who provided a lot of useful information. The room is lovely, facilities were in good shape, we were able to cook for ourselves . Excellent bathroom, best we have seen is similar properties. The garden and porch were also very pleasant, clean and well maintained and we had a charming little personal pool!!!

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly and professional staff. The service was impeccable—everyone went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience. When we encountered a small issue, they were quick to help, even providing first aid when needed. The hotel's location is breathtaking, right by the sea, offering stunning scenery. Everything was kept spotless and well-maintained. The rooms were comfortable, and the room service was excellent. The food was another highlight—fresh, homemade, and absolutely delicious. We left our plates empty every time! The restaurant played lovely music, and there was a great variety of choices. A special mention to the manager, Natasha, who truly made our experience unforgettable. Her attention to detail and genuine care for guests set this hotel apart. Every staff member had a smile on their face and was always ready to assist. Even the taxi drivers the hotel arranged for us were incredibly kind and professional. If you need transportation, don’t hesitate to ask the hotel to call a taxi for you. Plus, they also offer car rentals on-site, which is super convenient. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. If you’re looking for a place with top-notch service, stunning views, and delicious food, this is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!

Everything! The beach is beautiful and there are sun beds for use which were great. Pool also lovely. Loads of pre arranged activities available including a sun set cruise which are all great. Food for half-board was great too. Fab selections for breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner (you don’t need to buy a lunch!). We were even treated to a special 3 course meal with Prosecco as on honeymoon which was such a lovely touch! Staff were all so attentive and lovely. Special shout out to Belbin who always remembered our drinks order and went above and beyond every meal! 10/10 recommend

It's a very picturesque small village.

It's a very picturesque small village. We didn't see much of it, unfortunately. It rained a lot, which kept us indoors. Curieuse Island is exceptional. It's a must-see. However, be aware: the snorkeling part is rather disappointing. If you have your own gear, bring it. The equipment provided locally was quite basic and of poor quality. Gerry, a local taxi driver, is outstanding; if you ever get the chance to explore the island with him. You really need to choose the right time of year. The Seychelles lose some of their charm in the rain. Moreover, the biggest challenge remains the cost of everything.

It is a good starting point to explore Praslin island.

It is a good starting point to explore Praslin island. The beach is fine and good for swimming. The buses run regularly to the other parts of the island if you want to explore. Perfect place to stay longer from where you can go visit...

Perfect place to stay longer from where you can go visit other places like Curieuse island (turtle island), many snorkelling places (but you have to go for a trip, you can not snorkell straight from the beach), other places to visit are reachable by car - a lot of car rentals there. We loved Les Lauriers Eco hotel, stayed there for 10 nights - amazing place to stay and we ate there also - you will understand after dinner why they usually are fully booked and it is better to book a place there in advance.
