The ladies running the place are incredibly friendly, and the place itself is a small paradise with a beautiful calming atmosphere. Unfortunately, we stayed only one night, when I could have spent quite a few days enjoying the pleasant wheather sitting by the pool!!

Akira is spotless — from the rooms to the beddings and gardens, everything is beautifully maintained. The peaceful atmosphere makes it perfect for relaxation. But what truly stood out for me was the staff — every single one of them was kind, helpful, and genuinely happy in their work. Melissa, Carmen, and Delta at the reception made me feel so welcome every day, while Chef Stanley and Alex turned breakfast into a delightful experience with amazing food and great service. Special thanks to Pascal, the manager — his warmth and leadership clearly shine through the entire team. Akira is perfect for anyone seeking peace and genuine hospitality.

Exceptionally good location with several good restaurants nearby (maximum 10 minutes by foot). Also an easy walk up to Simba Supermarket and the car free zone with small gift shops. The hotel is so family friendly and offers a lovely pool with a friendly lifeguard for both adults and children.

The staff were very polite and extremely helpful. The room was large and was perfectly clean. Breakfast was included in the price and was generous, tasty and was ready on the expected time after I pre-ordered the night before. The hotel is at 10-15 minutes walk (5 minutes with Move or Taxi) from the KCC and the location is very safe to walk in even on the evening. I did not tried Lunch or Dinner, so can not comment about the food.

During my trip to Rwanda — the 99th country I’ve visited — I stayed two nights at Robero Resort. From the very first moment, I felt incredibly welcome. The manager personally picked me up from the airport and immediately provided all the help I needed. The resort itself is beautifully designed and very well taken care of. My room was spotlessly clean. The gardens are lush and green, the swimming pool and jacuzzi are wonderful, and the views over the surrounding hills are absolutely breathtaking. The WiFi is excellent throughout the entire property, which is perfect for travelers like me. The food was delicious every single time, and the coffee… simply amazing! But what impressed me the most was the staff: the most kind-hearted and caring people. They made me feel at home from start to finish. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for the incredible hospitality and all the support during my stay. I wish you all the very best — and I truly hope to see you again!

Kigali is a clean city, it is safe, and there are a lot of lovely people some who became family in the few days of our stay. I personally loved the rich history outlined and made plain for everyone to understand where Kigali came from, what they experienced and who they are now. One of the things that came out strong for was forgiveness, reconciliation, and love for humankind. That is what i carried back with me, because i met people who lived through genocide, who lost their homes and families... and walking in their shoes for those moments we shared was the ACE that made my stay in Kigali worthwhile.

The hotels are beautiful, the roads are exceptionally beautiful and the people are fairly friendly. What I disliked is that there too many motor bikes on the road competing with the size of the population.

I am living here & KIGALI is of of the most beautiful places with good weather, security & cleanliness. An stay of 7 days would be great here like LAKE KIVU, MOUNTAIN GORILLAS, VOLCANO, GENOCIDE MEMORIAL, AKAGIRA PARK, DEEP FOREST etc.

Kigali is such a beautiful and welcoming city. It’s clean, safe, and very well organized, with friendly people everywhere you go. I loved the calm atmosphere, the green hills, and how easy it was to move around. Definitely a place I’d love to visit again.

Kigali is a relatively small city where most areas can be reached in less than 30 minutes. It is impressively clean, safe, and full of activities to enjoy. The city enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy on drinking and driving, but many bars offer designated drivers who can safely drive you home in your own car. Whether you are a tourist exploring attractions or a business traveler looking to relax, Kigali has plenty to keep you engaged. The people are warm and friendly, though it’s always wise to exercise the usual caution when out and about, as with any city.

Friendly and helpful staff. Isabelle and Justine are so kind and welcoming. We ordered dinner and breakfast during our visit. The food was fantastic, so well presented and cooked for us personally. This is not a hotel but a home away from home. Nestled between Kigali city centre and the airport it was a wonderful place to stay.. we organised our return travel to the airport and allowed us an extra late checkout.. superb in every way .

Very safe, beautifully quiet and delicious breakfast. I was collected from the airport in the middle of the night and everyone was extremely helpful. Slightly outside the city centre so still easily accessible but not busy.
