We had an excellent stay here!!! The location is right by the bus station and very handy for getting to shops, restaurants and bars. The manager (Paul) is a great guy who will help you out with anything you need and is great to chat to. He organised for our laundry to be done while we went hiking for a very small fee. The breakfast is fantastic 👌!!! I think whoever makes the guacamole is part Mexican....

Amazing. I loved everything of this place. To start with, Dunier and Deborah. Amazing hosts, so attentive, so easy. I tend to be on my own but in this place I felt so at ease being around with them and having a talk here and there. They were also very flexible with my timings (super late arrival, super late check out). The place is GORGEOUS, I have not seen a view like that in a long time. The rooms are very nice as well, they have everything you need. I loved it.

This place has no downsides. The lodge is on a hill and offers a great view of the eastern side of Lake Kivu, and just 100m away from the lodge, there's a view of the western part of the lake. The staff is lovely, it's a peaceful location away from traffic, and the cuisine includes delicious local dishes.

The situation is magical, could not have been better! The cosy wooden, very quiet and bright cottage provides you with the best views over Kivu lake. Outdoor shower is great. Owner Philippe is a truly kind and warm person. Whole staff is smiling and does its best to satisfy you in a simple but very professionnal way like the manager Éric. Food options are simply delicicious and healthy. Activities offered are various (island hopping, community sharing...) and very reasonably priced. Wish Philippe and his team a deserved success story!
