We had an excellent stay here!!! The location is right by the bus station and very handy for getting to shops, restaurants and bars. The manager (Paul) is a great guy who will help you out with anything you need and is great to chat to. He organised for our laundry to be done while we went hiking for a very small fee. The breakfast is fantastic 👌!!! I think whoever makes the guacamole is part Mexican....

I spent two nights at Spa Shallum, where I felt most welcome! The manager, Faustin, was incredibly kind and helpful, he helped me planned my activities and even my return trip to Kigali! The place is charming, with a view on the lake and spotless. Breakfast was also really good. Many thanks!

Big beautiful room (more like little cottage), spacious terase, and outside shower with plenty of hot water with most amazing view. The room was spotless and very comfortable. Everything else was just exceptional. Stuff, food, activities, view, pool. Really one of the best accommodations we stayed in.

Wonderful hotel at an absolutely amazing location on the shore of lake Kivu. The road to the hotel is 10km of adventurous 4x4 terrain, but the hotel also offers boat pickups from nearby cities. When there, also explore the nearby coffee factory that gives tours - hotel boat can take you across the bay.
