Wow, it's such a gem 💎 of an apartment. Everything about it exceeded my expectations. The host .made sure I was looked after, going out of his way to ensure my stay was a great one. You have everything you need here, it's warm, clean and very affordable oh and so comfortable too.. Sremska Mitrovica and Serbia as a whole is definitely a nice and friendly place to visit.

It was really clean in apartment, you'll also have coffee, cold water for drinking (so cool in a hot day), even shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom as well!) The apartment is really close to the city center, but there were silent. Dijana is a really nice person, ready to help, also told us a little bit about the story of the city) We spent there only 24 hours, but if we're going to Sremska Mitrovica for the nex time, I'll be glad to stay there as well. I

The modern design and amenities provided a comfortable and stylish setting for our visit .The location of the apartment was perfect, situated near the river and in close proximity to the city center. This allowed us to easily explore the city on foot. As first-time visitors to the city, the host's exceptional support and guidance were invaluable. From the moment we arrived, the host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and informed. Lovely city, friendly and very helpful people.

Lovely city, friendly and very helpful people. Hope to go back and stay longer! There is a long beach by the river Sava equipped with everything needed for a carefree stay! One can even have a summer holiday there! Sincere recommendation!

The city is not so loud as other serbian cities.

The city is not so loud as other serbian cities. In the city center during the summer there are some festivals with traditional musice and stalls going on (check the dates). Restaurants and bars are cheaper compared to big cities. If you are looking for something in particular (f.ex. car parts, building materials, shopping...) it is a good place, relatively close to croatian and bosnian border. About sightseeings check the internet, I am not very kean on that here :)

Sremska Mitrovica is a history filled town with charming restaurants, coffee bars, ice cream shops, shopping, and even ancient ruins. Don't miss the Sirmium Ruins, the restaurant Sojenica, and Pekara Skroz Dobra, but there are many more amazing places as well.

Very ruined city.

Very ruined city. There is no sidewalk without bumps and damage. The buildings have seen better days, now most of them are totally ruined... Difficult to find a parking spot in the city, and when we did it was in mud and dirt. Small town but problematic traffic. I would not go there again and most likely I will not. Very disappointing place to visit.

We stay everytime we come on road trip to greece only 4...

We stay everytime we come on road trip to greece only 4 rooms the hotel is on stilts by the river Struma so you can sit outside on your large balcony and watch the river boats etc we never want to leave! Their restaurant is lovely and food is really lovely and tasty great variety of food

If you want to see the great historical sights and take in...

If you want to see the great historical sights and take in the local ambience, you could do it well enough in a full 24 hours. But really this is a charming place, with friendly people and pretty much everything positive you could expect outside of a major city. The exception to this is that this area in on the Pannonian plane, meaning that, unlike much of Serbia, there are no beautiful mountains and lovely valleys.
