Nice ladies at reception who gave us all details needed and hints for visiting tourist attractions and restaurants in the city. Very clean rooms having all what you need inside, including a safe. It's a nice city, but unfortunately almost every adult...

It's a nice city, but unfortunately almost every adult smokes and most cafes don't enforce a non-smoking policy. I unfortunately stayed in the centre of Stari Grad where all the loud bars and clubs are and there is no real legal policy on noise pollution. I honestly don't know how people live here full time. Due to this, I had to stay in a lot of other places on the weekends (+ I also visited Belgrade on occassion). This meant I could (hopefully) get some quality sleep. But having said this, I didn't get to fully explore the city and all it has to offer but the main area of Stari Grad is very nice culturally and a nice place to walk. I also think the river should be more accessible with nice paths alongside it. It's either a main stretch of busy road or once you hit a certain place it's blocked off and you have to pay the beach venue to access it which is a shame.

Novi Sad comes alive at night, lots of bars, restaurants etc. We were lucky and arrived when there was live music at the fortress (free) and the once a month night market ( first Friday of the month, 6-12) where we sampled lots of local homemade produce. Fortress is wonderful. Huge site, free to wander. Museum was interesting.

Novi Sad is an atmospheric city, but should be avoided in the hot summer because it can be crazy hot over there. City Center has a lot of bars and restaurants, view of the Danube is really good. Recommend.

Top City, however too much anti-govt activity going on Not good for Tourism, road blocks in the middle of the day was not well thought out. Definetely put a dampner on our visit which was otherwise really great visiting some less volatile places outside the city center.

It's really cute and small - easy to navigate.

It's really cute and small - easy to navigate. There are some wide roads that are a hassle to cross though. The parks are very nice. Exit was amazing, it seems like the whole city comes alive - there's plenty of places to go out outside of the festival. Shout out to fast food Index for feeding us very well (and cheaply) at random hours of the night.

Various breakfast (but... see below). Very large and nice clean room (thanks to the free upgrade we received). Good WI-FI connection (which is a real advantage if your mobile data is limited in Serbia, as it was our case). Large free parking. Very nice and helpful staff. Very good sink and shower water pressure. Comfortable bed. Very nice surroundings (the hotel is located right in a castle, on a high hill near Novi Sad city) with few restaurants around and a great view over the city and the Danube.

Small family run hostel. Friendly people. An apartment in a house, five minutes walking to the old city of Novi Sad. Close to anything. And 20 minutes walking to the bus and train stations. Two big rooms with six beds each one. AC. Lockers. Two bathrooms, large and clean, with hot water. Kitchen. Terrasse. Thank you guys. I wish you good luck.

Nice hotel with a great location, excellent Superior Room with a view of the city center and the cathedral. Excellent breakfast buffet with nice selection of food.
