It was a very friendly and modern furnitured apartment. The creek on the boerder of the yard was beautiful. We were together with our dog, She enjoyed really well running in the nature. We stayed at this wonderful house for three days and absolutely loved it. The host was extremely kind, open, and welcoming, which made our stay even more special. The house itself was brand new and built in a beautiful, traditional Serbian style. Everything inside was handmade by the host with great care, and it felt like the house was created not just for renting out, but truly for himself – and that personal touch made all the difference. The location was simply perfect, with breathtaking views from the house that we couldn’t get enough of. Everything about the stay felt warm and authentic, and we are very grateful for the hospitality. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience.

Absolutely amazing stay! 🌟 The house is in a stunning location — just a few minutes from the main road, yet so peaceful and quiet. Everything was perfectly clean, cozy, and well-equipped. The jacuzzi was spotless, and the view was simply breathtaking. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond — even coming in the evening to light the fireplace or prepare the jacuzzi so everything was just perfect. Another highlight was the food! Two meals a day are included in the price, served at the hotel across the road from a menu. Generous portions, delicious flavors, and a true homemade touch. We loved every moment — highly recommended! 💛

A good quiet place for relaxing and hiking. The travel on the Osmica railway was excellent. If you travel on public transport, check the schedule on the internet. There is no information near the bus stop, and the bus Vishegrad-Belgrade can have a big delay due to border crossing procedures.

Very nice place for short stay (3-4) days. Mećavnik is must go visit place, and a ride on Shargan’s 8 (trip with old train on narrow gauge railway) with breathtaking views is something you should not skip.

Sharganska osmica worth a visit, it a better to book a visit or buy a ticket beforehand, at jatarre train station there is a good place too eat pancakes and other stuff, the place works till 18.30pm I think 1-1,5 days is more then enough for visit, otherwise if you prefer to hike you could take more days

My favourite place was Mecavnik, Sgarganska Osmica, Banjska Stena, the smallest river, 365 meters long “River of the year”, Zaovine, Visegrad. The best restaurant is in Sarganska Osmica, which has affordable prices for the variety of food they offer. It was very easy to go around with the kind help of the locals who are very helpful.

Amazing cottage located just a step away from the main road and at the same time in a quiet place with a beautiful view from the balcony to a small river and a forest. Mokra gora railway station is 1 km away. The house was very clean and fully equipped with everything we needed: two big beds upstairs, living room downstairs, toiletries, coffee&tea, etc. Hosts Sanja and Radko were very welcoming.

The location was right by the Sargan 8 train stop, which is located in a lovely mountainous area. The staff of the hotel was great, always pleasant and ready to assist. The linens and clean towels were provided, and checkin was nice and smooth. The people are probably the best asset pf the hotel.
