We were in transit, we spent 1 evening and night at the accommodation. The staff and the owner were very-very nice. They were helpful in everything. We also had dinner, which was delicious and plentiful. The pool provided a good relaxation after the long journey. Our room was comfortable and spacious for 3 people. The beds were comfortable, we slept well. We will come back.

Although famous for its excellent barbecue, Leskovac also...

Although famous for its excellent barbecue, Leskovac also offers nice spots and events for (alternative) culture: photo exposition, drum fest, strip festival, film contest... The long-lasting history (dating far before Roman empire) and the local industrial revolution and humor are picturesque exposed in the cute national museum. There is also a archeological site at the hill Hisar above the city center. The Dubocica stadium is lovely, serving opportunity to have players within hand reach. For recharging, visit the Odzhaklija church! There are also pleasant places to visit around the city: mountains, rivers (one of them with very old hydro-power plant), Justiniana Prima fortress etc. The offer exposed during the barbecue-fest each September can be tasted in many restaurants. Among them is also the small one "Zlatni gong": whatever is chosen from the menu, accompany it with the amazing "teleci repovi". Enjoy LE!

This small town has decent central part but Vila Mitic is...

This small town has decent central part but Vila Mitic is actually in a suburb so you don’t see it. It could be 15 mins walk to the central part if you decide. The neighborhood of Vila Mitic however doesn’t look very attractive, I guess this is the only “hotel” in that area. If you compare the “hotel” that is presented on a business card and what you find in reality you would only stare. Presidential Appartment? Let’s take it as a funny joke and see the bright sight of this adventure.

I was in Leskovac more than 45 times last 10 years . I was helping restoration and teaching in Leskovac , Lebane and several of the villages. I have many friends in this region . I was organizing seminars and conferences i stay in almost all the hotels !I was during every session of the year ! I And most of the best restaurants . Food is GREAT! This time , I was with my wife and we have diner at the restaurant ABC . We invited friends there. It was GREAT ! This time we , ask our room not to be to Hight , but next time will ask second floor! Rostiljada turist cheats: had a negative experience on Rostiljada this Sunday. Wanted to taste the roasted pork so asked a portion from the waiter (my family sits next to me, they have been eating something else). Waiter did not speak English at all. Got a huge portion, with feta and cream. Wow ! 20 minutes after got a mixed grilled plate as well, when we realized that stg is not o.k. - sent back the grilled plate and asked for a help of an English speaking local. It turned out that the waiter started to serve a complete menu for 5, as he understood so - finally I paid more than 80 EUR… ALWAYS ASK FOR THE MENU AND AGREE IN DETAILS WHAT YOU ORDER ! Was a pretty expensive tasting….

Lots of fun!

Lots of fun! Coffee shops everywhere, live music (it was around midnight on a Wednesday night!). Pizza parlors, fast food, everything was open and the prices are unbelievably low! Leskovac is an excellent place for a stopover!

Very nice, clean and cozy apartment. Very well furnished. Good location. Good internet connection. Parking space was available.The owner was very hospitable. I was greeted by a nice Serbian lady-Bilijana. I did not have cash with me so Bilijana took me to the city center where I was able to use the ATM. I definitely recommend booking this apartment if you ever visit Leskovac. If I ever have another business trip to Leskivac I would not hesitate to book this property again. I give 10 out of 10!

Hotel Gros is a perfect option for a 1-night overnight stop in transit when on holiday. This was our second time at this hotel and we knew exactly what to expect. The room and the beds were very comfortable. The carpets of the hotel are worn and used, but overall everything was nice and clean. It was definitely value for money, as the price also included breakfast.
