The apartment was clean and spacious, conveniently located right in the center of the city. The proprietor was very welcoming and helpful. Also, a camera-monitored parking space was provided right in front of the entrance. Amazing!

The entire family welcomed me to their apartments. The apartment was brand new, very stylishly furnished, and equipment with everything one could need. Apparently, I was the first European guest. I can definitely recommend it! Looking forward to returning one day. Thank you!

Breathtaking view: we could not stop watching the sky full of stars and the beautiful sunrise which can be seen from the bed. The hut is very cozy, warm and bright. The kitchen is well equipped and the table outside is perfect for breakfast.

Sve je bilo besprijekorno :) Naravno, na prvom mjestu su preljubazni domaćini kojima se uvijek rado vraćam. Njihova ljubaznost, kultura i posvećenost svakom gostu je bez premca. Smještaj je odlican, a pogled na Uvac dodaje posebnu notu. Vesnina kuhinja, Duletove šale i Đurina kamera - trio za pobjedu. Jedva čekam doći opet :)

This villa is very new and cozy. Interiors are great. The view to the lake is superb, no other houses are blocking the view. It is 10 min walk to the lake where you can swim. Other attractions of Uvac canion are at driving distance. The owners are great people, they arranged a traditional welcome drink for us and also suggested to order the breakfast from the nearby village which we did. So at agreed time the lady from the village brought us pitas and home-made jogurt. If you stay more than one night, they can arrange dinner as well! There is fully equipped kitchen with pans, dishes, kettle, so you can feel at home. After boiling Belgrade this place is cool and fresh - about +13 at night and +27 in the late morning. We are seriously considering to return here next vacation and stay for longer…

We saw around 30 rare species vultures flying over the...

We saw around 30 rare species vultures flying over the viewpoints and across the river, so you can imagine what a sight it was! Had we stayed more, we would have gone fishing for sure as plenty of fish could be seen right from a pedestrian bridge nearby

The meanders of the Uvac River are a gem, not yet trampled...

The meanders of the Uvac River are a gem, not yet trampled by tourists, but that's changing rapidly. It's worth experiencing the beauty of the river canyon on a hike or a boat trip (can be arranged at the campsite). I recommend the restaurant at Etno Selo Molitva for a beautiful view and local cuisine. There are also a few restaurants at the campsite, but this one is closer to the main road and has a different atmosphere and view.

I'd never even heard of this region until recently, yet it's...

I'd never even heard of this region until recently, yet it's incredibly beautiful! The hike overlooking the Uvac Canyon to the various viewpoints is absolutely breathtaking. We saw a dozen griffon vultures circling overhead... incredible! A must-see for nature lovers!
