Perfect location, across the Happy Cemetery in Săpânța. Large apartment with big terrace, nice smell of wax and honey all around. Nice garden, a lot of funny messages written on the walls, cool old artefacts all around, traditional costumes one can wear and take pictures in. A must see place, a must stay location.

Casa Ilena is ideally situated right in front of the merry cemetery and the hosts cannot do enough to make your stay enjoyable, they are wonderfully welcoming and the decoration of the rooms is fabulous and a great insight into local crafts. It is a brilliant place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone looking to explore Sapanta.

Great staff, very hospitable. We arrived at 10 PM and in a few minutes they already served us with food. Clean rooms. Good location, everything is near, but not on the main road, so it's quite. They do also cook or barbecue together with the guest in the evening, you can socialize with others and have a glass of wine or pălincă. Very pleasent stay over all.
