The room was quiet and very comfy, the location is perfect as it is in the city centre and there is a shop closeby open until 11pm. Simona and Nelu are wonderful. They helped us a lot. I would like to come back for sure !

I LOVED it! Ste staff was friendly and accommodating, rooms were clean and the patio in front of the water was perfect, they even have a house cat that walks around and greets you! They offered us a boat tour to the rock sculpture and they picked us up right next to the terrace, price is overall very reasonable and affordable for the experience

The hosts were so friendly and welcoming. They were kind, courteous and offered us free coffees before we left in the morning. We visited as part of a walking tour and to have such a warm welcome is very much appreciated. The villa itself is beautifully decorated and very clean. Everything was classy and spotless. It was ideal for a night's rest before we continued on our way.

A peaceful gem along the Danube.

A peaceful gem along the Danube. Stunning landscapes, top hiking nearby. Great town for walking. Good cafes, workable restaurants. Has mainstream grocery stores and even a good quality gym. Prices are low for a westerner, even compared with larger cities in Romania. Would easily visit again

I recommend hiking the "Ciucarul Mare" track and doing a bicycle tour along the Danube river, starting in the village of Eselnita and cover the most spectaculous part by going (at least) as far as Dubova.

The only thing to be seen in this city is the lake, and a boat trip on the Danube. There is nothing else to do in the city, no activities, no bars, many restaurants were closed, the buildings are old and not renovated with a great lack of facilities. The view of the city is sad.

Great view of the Danube.

Great view of the Danube. Endless possibilities of boat tours on the lake with lot to see. Beautiful park in the town center. Beautiful monasteries near by (St. Anna and Vodite). Short ride away from Drobeta Turnu Severin on one side and Baile Herculane on the other with a lot more amazing places to see. Just a perfect place for rest from the city rowd.

It is a nice city along the Danube, excellent starting point for boat trips. The city is nice and quiet, and all good things are near the center. Great to the take long evening walks on the promenade, but prepare for it with some mosquito repellent.

Orsova itself doesn't provide touristic attractions but there are some interesting places to visit in the area like Cazanele Dunarii, hiking trips in the nearby mountains and Portile de Fier hydropower plant museum.

I stayed at this place twice on two different occasions - had to stop in Orsova for the night. Excellent. Car park in front of the door, very helpful girl at reception (when she is not waiting at tables in the restaurant). You will sleep literally over one of the great European rivers. This comes for about 50 euros a night!!

This hotel is very good. Breakfast was very good. The restaurant of the hotel was good too ! We had a room with view to Danuba. It was a great stop between Drobeta Turnu Severin si Herculane and Valea Cernei !
