I was here long time ago like 2004. It was change a lot and restoration of those magnificent fecade was fabulous. The plaza itself was so mesmerising and so cool to sit with lots of benches around. Small really beautiful city . Very walkable.
Small really beautiful city . Very walkable. Lots of pedestrian areas. The center is large and surprisingly interesting ( for a relatively small city). Ornate churches, a new Catholic Cathedral, a modern imposing synagogue and an older historical one. The Citadel is still in the midsts of restoration, but worthwhile walking. Had a "happy hour" break at Piata8 at the Citadel. Enjoyed typical Romanian food outdoors at "Hanul cu noroc"

One day is enough for Oradea. August 2023 when we were here everywhere is construction. Dusty and old city. Not so many tourists and not a lively city, felt weird. A good point to go to Hungary.

The building is nice, new and modern. Panorama is beautiful on the river and on the city. We were there second time and rented two rooms. A very new and modern bath is in the neighborhood. It is in the middle of city on the riverbank but the traffic in the street of the hotel is little. There are sport possibilities in the hotel and there is a running track in front of the hotel in the park. There are shops near to hotel in one km distance.

Super breakfast was included. But the stars of this place are the staff! Service is impeccable!!! Nothing is too much, big service with a smile!! The 3 stars should really be 5 stars!!! We really enjoyed staying here and will be sure to pick this place again, the next time we are in Oradea.
