I honestly don't know how to begin to describe this, it’s not my usual kind of review. 🙂 Casa Lucia welcomed me with a "big hug" from the moment I stepped into the yard. The instant I entered the house, I was overwhelmed by a feeling of comfort, warmth, and excitement. I’ve never felt this level of comfort anywhere else except home, until now. Of course, the friendly and well-behaved dogs and cats contributed to this feeling; honestly they’re the kind of pets anyone would want at home. The host was incredibly hospitable and always available for anything we needed. The rooms were impeccably clean and well-maintained, and the attention to detail surpassed that of any 5-star hotel I’ve stayed at. This place exceeded all my expectations. If you’re looking to ski, hike, or visit nearby tourist sites, there are plenty of options available. There’s even a dedicated area for kids in the yard, making it perfect for families. Casa Lucia remains a favorite place in my heart, and I will visit as many times as I can. There are no words to fully express how grateful I am to have found this place. When you visit, you will understand exactly what I’m talking about. You could imagine I left with tears in my eyes. Oh and also I slept better than I do at home 😁 Thank you for making us feel so comfortable!❤️

Always one of my favorite places to visit.

Always one of my favorite places to visit. Grab a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants on the shore (with a view!) then go and walk the easy trail circling the Red Lake through the forest. The Langos and ice cream are very good in the area! It can get a bit crowded during peak season so it's worth seeing during the off-season as well (winter especially!).

Everything would be ok if the personnel would not be so rude.it destroyed my whole visit to Romania. I cryed and didn't enjoy it at all...I live in the United States and never ever i was screamed at ,my whole life...i just asked gently for clean bedding sheets🥹🥺😦🥺 .i had alergy from that dirty looking sheets.and that old rude man screamed at me like to an animal.totally disrespectful to it's clients.shame.

The view is beautiful - the bed is very bad and uncomfortable - an old and sunken mattress, getting up with back pain and more tired than going to sleep --- Too bad that's what customers want and not invest in the most important thing - bed and mattress

The guesthouse is situated in the picturesque area of the Romanian Carpathians, close to Lacu Rosu and Bicaz Gorges. The room is small, but comfortable, the owner helpful. There is a fridge in the room (a definite plus), towels, a small table, and working wi-fi (which was a great asset as there is no Internet connection in the mountains).

The hotel is located near the forest, the area is quiet and relaxing, at night you can listen to the small river in the valley. The breakfast is buffet style and you can get fried eggs, fried sausages, cheese, etc. the staff was friendly and helpful.
