Good, new rooms. Very clean bathroom. Friendly staff. The restaurant had some yummy dishes for dinner and good options for breakfast. Easy 5Min walk to the castle. In the garden kids can play while you have a chilled beer and castle view. What else do we need?

The location is perfect very close to the city centre and a walking distance to the Castle, the room was great, very spacious and clean. The furniture in the room was nice and well taken care of. The breakfast was great, good food selection. The Hotel Staff was amazing, very friendly and polite. We had a great time at the hotel.

The hotel is a welcome oasis in the middle of the ruins of an industrial past that doesn't exist anymore, but has left no beauty behind. The rooms are perfect, the breakfast is good as far as the quality of the food is concerned. The selection is like every other hotel in Romania, but it covers everything. The hotel also has a very nice outdoor pool with bar and restaurant. It's in the back of the building, shielded from the traffic of the main road and in a well tended garden.

Small city, very calm and quiet.

Small city, very calm and quiet. Restaurants and people working there are more than friendly. This was my second trip and I will go there again! The main attraction is the Corvin Castle but the Hunedoara region has many places to visit and explore.

Hunedoara city was a very pleasant surprise.

Hunedoara city was a very pleasant surprise. The city is very clean and orderly. It can be clearly seen that the city is very well taken care of. Congrats to everyone involved in this process which surely takes a lot of work and determination. Most of the buildings private as well as official were painted nicely. The roads had the tarmac in good condition and new streets seem to be buiilded as well. The turistic sites were also nicely repaired and restored.

We only stayed one night on our way home to Hungary,...

We only stayed one night on our way home to Hungary, therefory only visited the Corvin Castle, which is a marvellois building, but the exhibition inside is not that spectacular. Most of the information is in 4 languages (Romanian, English, German and Hungarian), which is a very positive surprise compared to other locations we visited. Two hours were enougj for the whole site.

Depending on your schedule and how much time you want to...

Depending on your schedule and how much time you want to spend in the area, a quick detour into Hunedoara for three to four hours might make more sense than staying there overnight. Having said that, there is a lot of construction going on in the area and we were probably a bit cut off from other things that might have normally been of interest. The Castle is a must see, however. Truly breathtaking. There's also a fun (yes, fun) Torture Museum full of wax figures across from the Castle. This was the last stop on our trip after stays in Bucharest, Brasov, and Sighisoara. It was the only place that I didn't wish we had more time in. I don't regret driving out to see the Castle, but it would have been better to make it a shorter stop before continuing on to Sibiu for the night.

Very good location for access on foot to Corvin castle; also by car to the Zoe gardens and Deva fortress. This hotel was delightful - big comfortable bedrooms opening on to an inner courtyard with beautiful shrubs and water features. Lots of places to sit and enjoy a glass of wine undisturbed. We had 3 breakfasts which were off a menu and 2 evening meals. All were tasty and wholesome. Very relaxed atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff. Easy parking directly outside the hotel.

We stayed in a deluxe double room with garden and pool views.The room was clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. The service was exceptional. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We would like to thank Monica for warm, welcoming service. The breakfast had good variety, very filling. It was our first night in Romania and Krystal Boutique Mansion left very good impression on us. We would definitely stay again.

Great and very unique location hard to compare with other hotels. Castle literally across the road and you can see it out the window from your bed. Rooms are well sized for double rooms. Room was nice, view good, modern setting. Hotel overall was very nice, pool/spa, brilliant restaurant downstairs (up there with the best in Romania). Staff very nice, plenty of parking (and free).

The location is perfect very close to the city centre and a walking distance to the Castle, the room was great, very spacious and clean. The furniture in the room was nice and well taken care of. The breakfast was great, good food selection. The Hotel Staff was amazing, very friendly and polite. We had a great time at the hotel.
