We had an exceptional week at Kokel. The rooms were spacious and spotless, with great décor and crisp bed sheets. The corridors had pictures of the town, mixing the old with the new, in an up-to-date feel. Reception staff were very helpful, especially when we asked if there is a possibility to change the room as we travelled with two big dogs. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with huge variety of options and great coffee. Not to mention they produce their veggies – making their hotel a trailblazer in the area upleveling the hotel’s sustainability and social responsibility. For us, this provided an unexpected value and an exceptional overall experience. All staff including the ones from Bistroteca Baum were very helpful and ensured we were comfortable, nothing was too much trouble. The food at Bistroteca Baum was cooked fresh, inviting you to experience an explosion of flavour. Last but not least the hotel is disability-friendly – thank you for this.

Spotless! Amazing location, very clean, we stayed in the Cund House and loved it, had the whole house for ourself. The food is very tasty, local ingredients, the staff was very kind, the design is perfect for this type of experience. We even enjoyed the gym for 1 evening.

We loved our stay with Franco, Toto and his friend. Hospitality in the best possible way. Franco made us feel like family … we had very interesting discussions until the rain drove us to bed 😂. The meal prepared by his neighbour was delicious 😋 and overall there was absolutely nothing we could fault. We really recommend this green space full of fruit trees and spaces to sit. The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well. Throughout I was very impressed with Franco’s superb communication. We knew exactly what you expected and at no point felt disappointed. Small houses, but quite enough for a family of 2 adults and 2 children. Very clean and cozy. Everything is there: microwave, kettle, refrigerator. Wonderful and tasty dinner and very rich breakfast. Highly recommend!!! We also rode horses, the children were delighted.

The hotel is located in the old town so location is impeccable. The staff were very helpful and called to make a reservation for the bus to Brasov on our behalf. They also helped us with our luggage after calling a taxi for us. The breakfast was abundant too and the hotel restaurant serves great food.
