We cooked our meals ourselves, the kitchen was equipped with everything you need in the courtyard overlooking the forest, where we sat and ate. In addition, we used the washing machine at our disposal. On the first day we hiked towards the forest on foot, of course, and on the second day we walked to the small village about 2 km away, and back, and greeted the residents who worked in the gardens with good morning. The cabin was one of the cleanest places that I have ever been in my life. The whole enterior was made so lovely with a touch of so much style and comfortability at the same time. I met the host one time and that young couple made my day that day. Lovely lovely hosts! There was a hot tub in the backyard, and the host made sure that the tub was well cleaned and prepared so I can have good time there. The sourpunding was so quiet and lovely, my sleeping aura changed. Overall 10/10 experience

Loved the setting at the end of the village, set in an orchard with covered porches for lounging and eating. We stayed in the old cottage - two rooms with comfortable beds and bathroom with washing machine. The well appointed summer kitchen was close by. Our host Liliana was generous with her fruit, vegetables and apple brandy - and fed us delicious plum dumplings. We did day trips to wooden churches, Sighetu and the Merry Cemetary and Baia Mare. But also enjoyed sitting on the porch and hearing cow bells, cockerels and other sounds of country life.

The hosts are extremly friendly and they welcome guests as part of the family. When I asked for something which was not urgent, she reacted immediately once I adressed it to her. There was a bottle of cold water waiting in the fridge when I arrived (which was like heaven with this heat!) The kitchen has really everything you need to make a meal (even spices!) and all the utensils are more or less new. The place is well indicated with a lit sign that can be well seen at night. The wifi signal is good. The nearby roads are a paradise for bikers ;-) Quite close to the city center but calm at night. This place is oriented towards guest-comfort than anything else! I can go on and on saying good things about this place, its garden, the nice dogs they have, etc., but I invite you to come and check for yourselves ;-)

The house and the location were exceptionally beautiful! The house has everything you need and is just next to a very beautiful orchard. Baia Sprie is close to the Gutai and Maramures mountains, but you will need a car to drive to the beginning of the hiking trails. Last but not least, Bogdan is a fantastic host! Everything was perfect!
