Very close to Putna train station, and 5 mins walk to Putna monastery. Within a hundred meters of the Via Transylvanica trail and great place to stay to overnight to get ready for walking the trail. Staff were extremely helpful and stored our rucksacks for us( as we arrived by train around 09.00 and could not book in until 14.00) so that we could visit monastery without carrying luggage with us. Food was also good value.

The pension is new and in a good standard in general: - large rooms - very clean - good breakfast - located 5min on foot to the historical train station What really stands out is the owners attitude. They cared about our wellbeing from top to bottom: - breakfast at 06:30 (highly exceptional in Romania, where standars breakfast is served at 08:00) - very late checkout at 15:00 for free (we decided to stay one more night, but we had the option to leave late afternoon) - arranging local requests, e.g. the historical train It is also worth noting, this is a remote rural location where an accomodation with this standard and level of service is a rare find.

Everything was perfect! The host was a very lovely lady, she made breakfast for us which was incredible delicious! The whole house has an amazing rustic style which makes you feel like in a fairy tale. The best stay in Sucevița! I would strongly recommend! The holiday home was fabulous - lots of homemade furniture, so lots of wood... but also all the mod-cons: a coffee maker, a lovely hot shower I was greeted after a long tiring day (my fault) to a roaring hot fire, some homemade bread and cheese and a tomato from the garden - glorious. The host and his wife came round to give me a welcome shot of spirit and make up my bed downstairs near the fire - these are the personal touches that really mean something after weeks on the road.
