3 minutes from the Transfagerasan, this is the perfect place to recharge your batteries before or after crossing the mountains. We felt very comfortable in this completely new house. Everything is new, very clean, made to a high standard and you can see that the owners have put a lot of heart and soul into this place. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen and separate BBQ area are equipped with everything your heart desires. There is also a whirpool and a sauna, which can bevused for an extra charge. With the rural idyll, the impressive nature and the large outdoor area, this is a wonderful place to unwind for longer. The owners were very friendly, speak English and Spanish and welcomed us with raspberries and cherries from the garden.

I loved our balcony, it was great to relax and enjoy the view , room quite spacious, clean and cozy, comfy beds, kitchen really nice where you could find everything you needed. The owner kind and pleasant, very supportive. The pool was the best bonus for our kids😉

Such a quiet and unique location off the Transfagarasan road - which is a great place to see some European Brown Bears. Staff were lovely and friendly (especially the dogs) - the room was on the smaller side, but super comfortable and well designed - the bathroom especially! We also had a lovely balcony overlooking the forest.

From a nature perspective, absolutely stunning.

From a nature perspective, absolutely stunning. This area contains the southern part of the Transfagarasan mountain pass and there is a lot to see and do here. The scenery is spectacular - it also takes a long time to drive, so make sure that you have enough time. Try and avoid night time driving for animals (bears and dogs), but also for the fact that the road is extremely winding and tiring to drive. You will certainly see bears - the southern part of the road (Highway #7C) is a bear conservation area along Lake Vidraru.

The location is ok only for transit, to rest for a night and...

The location is ok only for transit, to rest for a night and move on. Otherwise you don't really have much to do, travel only by car for fear of bears that are everywhere in the area. You can't do the hikes unless you are very brave and well equipped. Otherwise, big crowd, a lot of cars and motorbikes coming and going, the cottage is right on the road (DN Transfagarasan).

Came with friends for a couple of days. We got to the hotel at night! We were met personally by the owner, he helped to park our cars. Then they prepared sandwiches for us, although the kitchen was no longer working! Clean room, delicious food, friendly staff! It felt like we were at home! Definitely recommend to everyone who visits Transfagarashan!
