Everything was perfect! It`s like travelling back in time, authentic Transylvanian houses and furniture, carefully restored and kept very clean. If you are more into modern style, it`s not for you. But if you like nature, castles and amazing food, this is the best place. The real strength however are the people, from the Count`s family to cooks and clerks, they would do everything to make sure you have a great time. Don`t miss the Castle (c`est "l`incontournable"), the carriage tour around the village (my 9 year old son enjoyed it a lot) or the bear watch trip. They have a very good house wine, mise en bouteille au chateau, liked it so much that we bought some for home. If you plan a trip here, check the dates for the summer castle concerts, these are truly magical. Certainly coming back next summer.

Wonderful house in the forest/countryside, the place is amazing, perfect to have a rest and some moments out of the time! The bedrooms are very cosy, the beds perfectly confortable and the breakfast is amazing! We strongly recommend.

great place and amazing surroundings! i totally recommend Meburger 279 - cozy atmosphere, clean, quiet place, great access to all the facilities and also very nice places around. The house has a very nice story which makes it a magic place and the hosts are very helpful and warm. There are a lot of nice things to do around, walks in the nature and hiking, even e-bike tours (the hosts will provide all the information you need). For a full experience we also had dinner and breakfast at the location - great choice, local and traditional food. Totally recommend this place, absolutely no complaints!

Really nice host and staff. The lady organizing the location is exceptional: we lost our car keys during a bike ride and she was kind enough to organize a car and a driver and we found it. We will be back for sure!

One of the previous reviewers said it was the best hotel in Romania. We arrived very late at night after a breakdown and having failed to get to our planned destination. We were astonished to find a perfect, clean, modern and stylish hotel. The breakfast was wonderful, varied and with delicious artisan cheeses and meats, beautifully laid out. I do believe that previous reviewer was not exaggerating. We wish we could have stayed longer!
