Very calm, clean and the family room was perfect for 4. Breakfast was delicious: fresh fruit, natural juices, eggs and cakes. Pizzas in the bar at night were a lifesaver to avoid go out with little kids and they were delicious too!

Very nice staff, nice room with hot tub outside. Breakfast is very good with amazing view on the river/sea. You can make your own fresh orange juice by putting the oranges in the automatic machine. It doesn't come any fresher than that: very nice touch! All of this give a perfect start of the day. They also serve buffet dinner with sushi, grill and pizza station above the self-serve for a very reasonable price. Food was very good!

Vila Nova is a pretty seaside town .

Vila Nova is a pretty seaside town . We came for a night and stayed for a fortnight. The supermarkets amd cafés are plentiful. There are many beautiful beaches and interesting things to see. The local bus takes you to pretty towns and villages nearby. Its a lovely place to have a holiday.

Visited for 3 days as part of a road trip through Alentejo...

Visited for 3 days as part of a road trip through Alentejo into the Algarve. Lovely resort with river and sea beaches. Good selection of shops and restaurants. Visited out of season so very quiet apart from a volume of backpackers. Weather was perfect.

This charming seaside village offers an ideal spot to relax and recharge. Although it can get quite crowded in July and August, its peaceful atmosphere makes it perfect for a getaway. There are many cafés and restaurants where you can truly experience Portuguese cuisine, but as always, check reviews to steer clear of tourist traps!

Vibey town with lots of nice restaurants and cafes, beautiful safe areas next to the lagoon to swim and a great sunset view from the most western point. Great location to explore both north and south beach areas.

it was a beautiful town with lots of restaurants and shops to visit. Unfortunately we were only in town for one night as part of our Fisherman's trail hike. We took the short ferry across the bay and did get to see the beach, which looked amazing

Great little town that provides good access up and down the...

Great little town that provides good access up and down the west coast of Portugal. The beach nearby or on the other side of the river is excellent for a relaxed day and the town itself has a good number of restaurants/cafes etc. You can: - spend time at the beach - explore the coast (by car or walking) - paddleboard, kayak etc along the river - wander the town stopping at cafes/gelaterias/restaurants - all of the above

The Charm-In centre is a beautiful boutique hotel. It is very modern and kept extremely clean. The rooms are lovely with a well designed bathroom and just enough space for one large suitcase. The location is fantastic - 10 min walk to the beach, surrounded by cafes and free parking so we were able to drive to other beaches too. I also loved the rooftop of the hotel which had deck chairs. Fully enjoyed my 5 nights stay here. The hotel also provides free coffee vouchers to a near by cafe!
