The hotel manager went out of his way to help us, even giving us a lift to the bus station in the morning so that we could get to Porto and start our camino. We were also allowed to leave our car in the hotel carpark while we were walking. Superb service! The breakfast was good, with a wide range of cold foods

Clean tidy room, small but adequate. Great shower. Lounge and kitchen were shared facilities. Nice outlook. Staff nice and helpful. The was some snacks and drinks available that you can purchase on site. There were push bikes free to use but it was too wet while we were there. Overall great concept. 🙂 free parking.

I had the best sleep during my Camino in this beautiful albergue. The room was essential, but the garden was very cozy, and the swimming pool a small luxury for our tired feet. The host was very welcoming and prepared a lovely vegetarian dinner that we shared with the other pilgrims in a big table in the garden. The best evening of the whole walk for me. The breakfast was also nice. Highly recommended!

Cobblestone streets lined with traditional shops and restaurants invite you to explore every corner. Its proximity to the Minho River makes this destination a truly unique experience. We visited the Castle, restaurants with excellent quality, shops with great quality and affordable prices. We have excellent highways, it was easy to get to Valença. We went to Spain, Santiago de Compostela, Vigo. I recommend it to anyone who can visit.

We didn't dislike the city; it's quiet and not big, but it has a very attractive old town called "La Fortaleza" (The Fortress), which is definitely worth visiting. We had some very unpleasant weather with rain and wind, two things that don't exactly make getting around easy.

Well, it was for shopping. The stay was perfect and two nights was enough; we went to cities that were 15 minutes away, like Tui for example, and it was great. We've been doing it for the last two long weekends and we'll definitely do it again.

Friendliness of staff, clean and comfortable rooms, lovely breakfast. Great location for train station and Valenca old town. Restaurant provides excellent value lunch menu and very good quality food in the evening. Definitely worth a visit! Delightful pool area which was very welcome in the very hot weather during our stay.

The best thing about the hotel is its location, which is just across the road from the Fortaleza. We headed there immediately and returned for dinner later. Breakfast at the hotel was very nice and takes place in a spacious and sunny room on the hotel's top floor.
