What a beautiful hotel, stunning location In Alentejo, really enjoyed our visit to the local town. The accommodation was superb, huge open style room and lounge area, huge bath! lovely shower, super comfy bed. We had a terrace and if you wanted your fire lit they would come and do that. Very nice complimentary bottle o wine in the room too with my name on it. Place was very quiet and peaceful.

Only a 5-minute walk from the Vendas Novas Train Station, this 4-star hotel is situated in a historic 19th-century building.

Where do I begin… Jorge is very welcoming. We are English speakers and he spoke English with us, so friendly and helpful! The room is immaculate, clean, and cool. The bed was so comfortable. Good shower. Breakfast is great. Communal areas are welcoming, clean, clean and well equipped kitchen. Jorge presented breakfast in the morning which way surpassed our expectations. We travel with bicycles and felt they were stored safely. Really exceptional!

Absolutely outstanding experience! We were treated to a visit to the palacete on our arrival, followed by a scrumptious afternoon tea. We were the only guests for the night, but we felt the family did absolutely everything to make us feel at home. Including an extensive breakfast buffet, made up of homemade and regional goodies, before we were taken round the chocolate factory. All in all, this was the best hotel experience I've had for a very long time
