We had the best stay at villa Anna Splendid. It exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, Alexey and Anna made us feel completely at home. They were warm, friendly, and always available if we needed anything — thanks to them, we never went without a single thing. The villa is gorgeous inside and out. We saw the best sunsets of our lives from there. The facilities were great: the infinity pool was lovely, the kitchen had everything we needed (and more), and the private sauna was such a treat. It was a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. Perfect place to unwind.

Our stay was truly wonderful. The cabin is beautifully decorated and very comfortable, the attention to detail in every corner is evident. The hot tub is a great way to unwind the day, breakfast was delicious. Would love to return one day, highly recommend.

I stayed in the Country Suite for 1 night, the room is beautifully decorated and had a helpful book about São Miguel Island with recommendations for restaurants and places to visit whilst on the Island. I also liked the bath salts and the reduction in plastic for the toiletries. The villa and area is peaceful and is only about a 10 minute drive from Sete Cidades, Mosteiros and Feteiras.

An amazing place - the cabins are so well positioned for...

An amazing place - the cabins are so well positioned for peace and privacy. Comfortable and well equipped. Bed was so comfortable - combined with the peace and the darkness, made for an excellent sleep. We loved cosying up with the fire of an evening and strolling around the lake. I would recommend it to anyone.

Beautiful landscape from the mountain . The lake is a good place. Nothing is really done to allow the tourist on night in sete cidades. There are 3 restaurants . Two of us are awful in price and quality . One of them on the border of the lake doesn’t like the tourist if I refer to the lack of laugh of the waiters. One another restaurant has very very bad quality of food. The third one is good but with only buffet all included proposal and not traditional family cooking as we encounter in the rest of the island. It is better to come on the day and leave to go on another place for the night and for the restaurant.

Sete cidades is very beautiful for the naturelover and the families who want to discover quiet villagelife. It is nice to discover surroundings early and after the tourists who pass through come. You need to be aware that the weather is often or cloudy around the lakes or up, not so often blue sky. But, clouds pass quickly and the walks around have some stunning views when the sky opens. In the village is a traditional bakery with fresh warm bread.
