Super clean and comfortable for myself and young kids. Kids loved the room and being in the swimming pool. Will definitely stay again when we come back to visit Serpa.

Lovely people, super clean hotel and room, great breakfast, 400 metres to the bus station, no stairs! My partner realised he had left his umbrella behind and the gentleman at reception quickly dropped it to us at the bus station (with a smile).

This former farmer house was refurbished respecting Alentejo’s traditional architecture.

A very, very beautiful place away from everything. Great staff (not everyone speaks good English, but that didn't prove much of a problem). Dinners are deceptively simple but very good and the wine excellent. We spent three amazing days and wished it could last much longer. An ultimate retreat.

A large minimalist modern room with lovely big bathroom. I appreciated the squeezed orange juice for breakfast.

This family run hotel is the best experience we have had in Portugal. Everything was beautiful the breakfast was perfect, the staff perfect, friendly lovely people, who have made this home for themselves and their guests. What a wonderful conclusion for a long motorbike tour in Morocco. Both Paul and Toni were great hosts helping and advising us during our brief stay. Paul is a real motorbike freak with a great collection of bikes. Unfortunately we only stayed for one night but it is a home we shall visit again. Their place is a must for anybody travelling with motorbikes.

The property is beautiful, like staying in a small stately home. It is really well equipped, from the fully equipped kitchen to the huge towels for both inside and out, everything has been thought off. The outdoor kitchen with sink, fridge & bbq make life easy and the spa which is housed in a different building just made the holiday feel luxurious, not to mention the huge pool. Nita looked after us really well and yet was unobtrusive, thank you. Also, the delightful cafe is less than 5 minutes away and the supermarkets less than 10 minutes by car. We loved the remoteness of the house and the dark skies at night, the stars were amazing.

Located opposite Beja’s exhibition fairground and 60 metres from the bus station, Hotel Francis offers air-conditioned rooms with cable TV and a private balcony.
