Calm escape in the middle of summer. First of all I wanted to say that my explanations where much more below real picture. The house is completely furnished and has all you need. It is ancient, made of stones with renovation according to traditions in this area: the overall experience felt like owners put their hart in this project. It is quite tiny, but has two big bedrooms with a queen size beds, in a living room there is a sofa bed, which you could also use for sleep. In the kitchen there is a table where you can sit and eat, also it has a unique old fire stove. We arrived at an extremely hot days, and at night left doors and windows open, it felt locompletely safe there. It was the only hot night and in general all other time you could find a place in shade of trees or just on a stone stepladder in a tiny backyard (ideal place for a evening glass of wine). Another gem is the natural pool on another level of the land, you could pass by foot to it (5 mins walk) and it’s really beautiful designed natural pool with a flowers and garden area around. Eucalyptus and oak trees around are pretty high, so you could always stay in shade of trees. There are wooden chairs and table so you could have a picnic there. Incredible! The most important part of this place is people. The owner is really kind, all the people who work in this land are friendly and welcoming, respectful to your needs. Quick and easy communication, perfect knowledge of three languages: Portuguese, French and English. It was just three nights but felt like a week at least. I would definitely recommend the place.
