It was a really nice stay in a village about 7-8 minutes drive from Gouveia. There is private off-street parking. It's on a main road but it was rather quiet. The apartment has a good size. Comfy bed with a nice electric fireplace heater - very pleasant. The water in the shower was very hot. The kitchenette had everything we needed. There is a dining area and a seating area in front of a telly. It was a very nice place to stay. The host was very helpful and responsive and had put the heating on before we arrived so the room was warm when we came in.

This is small family hotel with great pool and very good vine and food. If you need anything more for breakfast, they serve you. Staff is also great. On our trip over Portugal we have stayed in five 4 star hotels (mostly small like this) and this was the best.

Teresa Governo is a very friendly and welcoming host who did her best to help me find the location of the apartment (Google maps doesn't recognise the address) and when I called her for help she came out immediately to find me and guide me - excellent service. The apartment was quiet and perfect for our needs. On top of this, Teresa provided multiple items in the kitchen that were a delightful bonus: a full fruit basket, olive oil, vinegar, salt & pepper and other spices, tea & coffee, milk, rusks, welcome chocolates and a little liqueur, jam, butter and bottled water, nuts, garlic, onions etc. Her apartment is excellent value for money - I'm sorry ours was such a short stay.

The landlady was really nice and helpfull, she even gave us a ride when we couldn't find the transport and cooked dinner for us! The surroundings are super nice for spending a nice calm getaway weekend. The dogs were really friendly and they added to the mountain cozy atmosphere apartment:) 100% recommended! Thank you!
