Very nice two-storey house with 3 apartments and a shared kitchen and lounge area. During our stay we were completely alone in the whole house. It was wonderful. Each floor has a terrace, floor-to-ceiling windows, everything is very stylish, new and modern. The kitchen has a stock of coffee capsules, tea and everything you need for cooking. There is a free parking right in front of the exit of the house. Nídia greeted us with orange juice and suggested restaurants and must visit places in the town. We would love to spend more time there. Totally recommend!

The appartment was lovely, we couldn't believe the facilities that we had for the price. We didn't see Lucy but Tony was very accommodating and welcomed and showed us around. Great place to stay, would recommend to anyone coming to the area. We definitely would have stayed longer if it was available. Would stay again if we came back.

Little Hut is a perfect secluded retreat if you need to get away from the city hassle and fuss. The quiet is absolute and you can only hear the wind and the birds, some occasional dog barking. The atmosphere is magic at night having the little village very few artificial lights so you can enjoy a magnificent view of stars and Milky Way. House is complete with all accessories, well furnished and cured. There are lots of options on where to eat, a small table in the kitchen, a bigger table in the den, a nice table on the patio or under the grapes pergola. There are many automatic little lights that go on with the dark, adding to the Hut a magical touch. Air conditioning is present to give you some fresh air to rest during the hottest hours of the day. Parking available under a shed in the shadow for your car, inside the property. Maria is an attentive guest and she is always caring to make your stay pleasant and relaxing, she even sends you messages with activities during the summer nights in Faro.

A medium sized town with a nice center and good shops.

A medium sized town with a nice center and good shops. I would suggest you needed transportation if you wanted to get out and about. We could find no trips which originated there but we stayed just at the tail end of the season. If you want an excursion then Faro cost us 12-18 euros one way ask for the "old marina" which will drop you in the touristy area. No rail link and buses minimal; however there is a great cafe in the bus station to make up for the lack of buses (owner has good english). Next door is a comprehensive and good supermarket (with pharmacy) and they are also building a medical center in the same location (hopefully you won't need it).

A lovely compact village with friendly residents and local...

A lovely compact village with friendly residents and local cafes and restaurants. Close enough for short or long walks to the outer edges of the village and the mountainous areas. Great 'red pavement' for exercising with measured distances. Fabulous pool for swimming lengths and spa pool for exercise. Daily buses to Faro. Great supermarkets for home cooking. Brilliant place to visit and stay.

Good portugeese restaurants. People very friendly. Its a a very quiet rural village with all the amenities , restaurants , supermarkets, sightseeing , small quaint shops . It was 5 minute drive to get into the town . To eat I would recommend Luis Dos frangos and Tachina de Avo Luisa

Stayed for 3 nights to attend an expat party. Lovely atmosphere, laid back and friendly. Especially loved the cafe on the square and the Rock and Wine Bar. Nice Piri piri chicken at Louis'. The locals love it so you need to go early to get a table without queuing later in the week. Sadly lots of derelict houses but some lovely traditional streets. Shame the outdoor lido pool was closed. Maybe too early in the season. A couple of supermarkets and a good local food market. Buses to Faro but not sure how often. We went to an Indian restaurant near Louis' chicken place but service was incredibly slow and food was mediocre.

Sao Bras is a beautiful, little market city which is located in the hills of the Algarve, At the same time it is not too far from the beaches, if you have a car. The town has all amenities like several supermarkets, nice shops, very good restaurants and pharmacies/doctors. People are very friendly there. Perfect for families or people who like to spend time outdoors.

Sao Bras is a quiet small town, no tourists (al least in February), but all amenities (supermarkets, pharmacy, restaurants), easy to park a car for free. The hotel is in a rural area in 5 min from Sao Bras de Alportel. The nature is beautiful, nice place for a walk. You will definitely need a car to get to the hotel. It’s easy to find with Google maps. Note: the restaurants are closed on Monday, but you can find pizzeria or a supermarket. The other days some restaurants are open for dinner only from 19.00, for lunch from 12.00 till 14.00. It’s about half an hour to drive to the beach.

The hotel is located in a quite area with a beautiful view. The owner of the place was very welcoming and kind. The room was very large with a comfy bed and the breakfast was excellent with lots of selection. We really enjoyed our stay!

Very spacious room with a balcony and powerful shower. Very clean and a good free breakfast. Very central location. I’m surprised it doesn’t have a higher overall review score. Public parking was available right in front of the hotel.
