The place is stunning. Just a couple of years old. The pool is amazing, a shallow and a deep end. The eating room is super nice with amazing pottery. The host is a great guy and so is his family, always open for a chat. Breakfast is great and having dinner there a must! We were absolutely super happy staying here! Thanks to everyone!!!

We were genuinely shocked by how incredible our stay was at Quinta de Travassinhos. We were taken by the spectacular scenery of the surrounding vineyards, though this was actually matched by the beautiful work the owners have done on the property. The interior is beautiful and stylish yet still homely. The pool and spa are also top class. The best part of our stay was how welcoming and helpful the team are, and how they made our stay very special. If you have a chance to stay here, you won't regret it, genuinely one of the best places we have ever stayed together. The energy in the place is also incredible, the owners work extremely hard to provide the best service possible, they clearly live and breathe hospitality. Thank you so much Helena and Ricardo!

This place is simply outstanding – one of the best stays I’ve ever had with Booking. It’s not just a B&B, but a beautifully maintained historic property full of charm and cared for with love by the two wonderful hosts. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with an amazing view of the Douro Valley. The house even has its own chapel, its own vineyard and cozy shared spaces. Breakfast is served at a big communal table, which gave us the chance to meet other guests and share lovely conversations. Everything was perfect!

Quinta da Pousada was an absolute delight from start to finish. Antonio welcomed us personally and gave us a warm tour of the property, setting the tone for a stay where the attention to detail is truly next-level - everything feels close to perfection. Our room was spotless and cozy, with a genuinely comfortable mattress and pillows, a proper coffee maker, and more than enough fresh towels. After hot days exploring the Douro Valley, the swimming pools were a blissful cooldown. A standout highlight was the Port wine tasting led by Antonio himself: not a generic lineup, but beautifully aged, high-quality Ports made at the Quinta, including a remarkable 1959 that we’re still talking about. Dinner and breakfast were equally impressive: hearty, home-style dishes rooted in local recipes and produce, served with care. We left feeling pampered, well-fed, and completely at ease. Couldn’t recommend Quinta da Pousada more! Thank you, Antonio, for a stay we’ll happily repeat!
