Wonderful apartment. The kitchen is well equipped. Wonderful host Anna, who took care of us all the time. We were met at the airport by a transfer organized by Anna, and traditional Portuguese sweets and homemade jam were left in the fridge. The apartment is beautiful, spacious and tastefully decorated. Sagres is beautiful. Perfect for people who are not afraid of wind or cold water. Because of that you find yourself in places with not too many people and always have more than enough space in the beach. Some beaches are full of trailervans but people are nice and chill.

Sagres is history lovers and sports enthusiasts paradise -offering plenty of hiking, beach time, surfing, and cycling. The views are amazing, and the Fort is not only impressive, but also describes natural heritage while offering spectacular views. As for the restaurants, perhaps it was end of the season blues, but the serving staff seemed a little put-off you were there. The brewpub was not exceptional except for the fact you could get a decent beer, something rare in Portugal. Their beer, however, was expensive, and at the prices charged not meant to encourage people to linger.

Amazing place lots of restaurants and bars but it is all spaced out if you have good legs this is no problem. Of course you can hire a car and drive out at night but if you want to drink you need to walk as we didn't see 1 taxi on our 9 night stay. Find accommodation near to Mareta beach as that's about central. Very young area lots of fit surfing people day and night which is great. There are 3 beaches within walking distance Tonel is the one for surfing if you can do!! Mareta beach is the nicest of the 3. There are many more you can drive to. The fort is interesting. Can be very windy as it is on the cliff top! We love the Algarve the whole lot of it I am addicted to it.

A beautiful town with everything you need on a family...

A beautiful town with everything you need on a family holiday all within an easy walk of most accommodation. Not too busy which was an added bonus and the locals are all very friendly. A stunning beach and plenty of local attractions that will immerse you in the history of the area and Portugal. A visit to the fort is a must for history buffs and watching the sunset at the lighthouse is essential.

Sagres is a great place to escape the crowds and relax.

Sagres is a great place to escape the crowds and relax. It’s a small town where everything is within walking distance. Buses connect it to nearby cities, and both Bolt and Uber operate in the area. I recommend renting a car if you want to explore the surrounding beaches. It's mainly a destination for surfing, with pleasant temperatures and a steady breeze – not as hot as other parts of the Algarve. There are also plenty of opportunities for hiking and cycling in the beautiful natural surroundings. One thing that surprised me a bit was that some restaurants accept cash only, so it’s good to have some cash with you just in case.

More traffic than I expected approaching the fort area. The weather definitely has an impact on the experience, if it is wet and windy it is difficult to enjoy the beaches and coastal walks and the town does not have much else to offer.

The apartment was lovely, clean and well equipped. It is very modern and well furnished and in a great location with a lovely terrace and balcony. Alberto and his family were very welcoming and could help with any information we needed on the area and the town of Sagres. We would definitely recommend staying at this apartment and we hope to come back soon.

House was perfect for a family holiday. It was very well equipped with plenty for my two year old son to play with and all the basics to be able to cook. Having the pool was great and everything was within walking distance including excellent restaurants, the beach and shops. I would definitely recommend Casa Cabrita and Sagres.
