Wow, this is an amazing place worth staying. It's remote and has everything you need (even padel courts and animals (horses, donkeys, alpacas)). Really well positioned, both close to the village and the beaches. There's also a ranch nearby for horse riding newbies which was a pleasant experience for us. The staff is very friendly, the breakfast had good food options and overall the houses are really well managed. This one we've stayed at is perfect for a group of friends or a larger family with plenty of space and comfort. Even though the beach is close by, for chillier days you can always make use of the heated pool.

Vista MarVilla was everything I could wish for: cosy, clean, and all to myself. The apartment was fully equipped and I was sorry not to stay more days as I would surely have enjoyed. The apartment is just a short 5-minute walk from the main street and the sea. The Rede Expressos bus stop is also within reach—about a 10-minute walk away. There are two supermarkets nearby (as far as I know), but keep in mind that this is a small town, not a bustling city—so you won’t find department stores or major fast-food chains here. That said, you can still find pizza or a hamburger if you’re craving something familiar. I’d definitely recommend trying the fresh fish—there are plenty of great options around. The area is quiet and feels safe. I walked down to the seafront to watch the sunset and strolled back without a worry—the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Later, I enjoyed a meal at the outdoor table of the apartment, soaking up the peaceful surroundings. Thanks to the fence, the space felt quite private.

A typical seaside town that quietens down after the season.

A typical seaside town that quietens down after the season. We visited in February so almost everything was closed. It was lovely because there were no tourists and you could easily find a place in a restaurant (although it wasn't that easy to find an open restaurant). The center still has the feel of an old-type fishing village with tiny cute white and blue houses, but you can see and feel the pressure of the modern beach town which is just behind the old city center. Great beaches and amazing cliffs add to the attractiveness of Porto Covo both in winter and in summer.

Gorgeous spot to visit if you want to stear away from big crowds. Views are breathtaking with a bunch of beaches connected by caves and grottos. There really isn't much else there. A small little village with some eating facilities and a small supermarket. It's a perfect spot for one day and night. The fact that you can park your car wherever you please is also very nice.

Great location for beach goers, with multiple pristine, gorgeous coves in close walking proximity. Friendly staff; we were upgraded to an ocean front view room and they were able to accommodate our request for a late checkout, last day of our trip so we were able to enjoy the beach before our long flight home. Breakfast (included) was plentiful and offered many options. Our trip included stays at 5 hotels, this was the only one that actually had a stocked mini fridge.

Porto Covo is an attractive little town with a small fishing...

Porto Covo is an attractive little town with a small fishing harbour. The Main Street has a lot of very touristy shops. A fair choice of restaurants to eat in but nothing special. It was easy to get to using the very efficient Portuguese bus service and a good place to start walking the Rota Vicentina.

Beautiful little town. Nice restaurant. Lovely little local fish and fruit market open in the mornings only. No main supermarket that I could see, only small local ones. But a beautiful beach and cove.

My friend and I were doing the fishers trail at the coast and this was a perfect starting point. We decided to be here so that we could start by arriving and having an afternoon at the beach. The apartment is great! It belongs to a horse ranch and is outside of Porto Covo (in the middle of nowhere) but close to the beach where is also a café/restaurant. the owner of the place is kind and friendly and we felt very much welcomed.

It was a wonderful flat - very very spacious and had everything you need (special mention to the washing machine)! The balcony was especially nice and the location was perfect as it was close to the cliffs + beach and supermarket. A good choice for an overnight stay but not perfect (the flat is a little old and was pretty cold).

Perfect accomodation! Nice room, everything is made with love, perfumed bed linen. Very comfortable bed. Absolutely clean! Spacious completely equipped kitchen, coffee and croissants for breakfast, washing machine, and even a fireplace! Minimercado just next door to the apartment. Close to the beach. Thank you!

Great localization - right in the center of Porto Covo, a few steps from the ocean. Spacious, nice and clean room, comfortable bed, well equipped, bathroom as well. View from the window was amazing! Shared kitchen with fridge, coffee, tea, cakes etc. Great receptionist! Definitely I'll come back!
