We just stayed one night but would have stayed longer if it would have been possible. For the price in Peniche you get a good location (not directly in Peniche but still close to the beach), a big and beautiful hotel complex, a pool + whirlpool and a pool table. Staff was very helpful! Rooms are very bright and big, as well as a very spacious bathroom.

The workers are very open and nice guys, answered all questions and helped with everything . I took a couple of surfing lessons and it was just flowing , the teachers are super nice . I planned to stay one night and ended up spending three great days there .

Peniche town is charming, a tiny jewel on the dramatic coast with beaches, cliffs, islands, historic buildings and twisty streets, and views. It's pretty small; consider a visit to the whole region (get a car; public busses run but are infrequent) not just to the town of Peniche. I would recommend visiting that whole section of coast.

The town is definitely geared up for tourists but it is...

The town is definitely geared up for tourists but it is certainly seasonal. Out of season there is not much to do there. There are a huge number of camper vans and RVs around the parking areas along the beach roads, because of the surfing. Restaurants and bars are in abundance near the harbour and most appear to be quite popular in their different price ranges.

Beautiful fishing village with charm and character as well as lovely activity filled beaches. Lovely restaurants and bars to soak up the sun. 3 nights was perfect to walk the coast and spend some time relaxing and on the beach. We had a car but walked everywhere to get the best out of it. Recommend the Java house bar for drinks and relaxing and check around for restaurants. There are some on the harbour front but some of the best ones were hidden in the back streets with amazing service and fresh, beautiful dishes to choose from.

The area is nice.

The area is nice. However the beaches in the area is NOT for little kids. Too wavy and rough. Possible that on a calm day the beaches south of Peniche facing the southwest could be calmer but on the day we went they were all rough. We went to a beach to Praia da Foz do Arelho about 20-25 mins away that was sheltered from the ocean and the kids had a blast. At night there was a festival but otherwise the town was sort of quite despite being middle of July and supposedly "high tourist season".

Rocky peninsula, a lot of sceneric views, possibilities for...

Rocky peninsula, a lot of sceneric views, possibilities for trecking or simply slowly walking, romantic vibe , waching seagulls and sunset, delicious food served in local restaurants. Even the foggy mornings were there like from a fairy tail. Awesome place.

One of the nicest hotels we stayed at on our tour of Portugal. Huge bedrooms, beautifully appointed, nice terrace, and great bathrooms, with two sinks. It’s a bit of a walk into town, so ended up in the bar and restaurant both nights on the top floor, which is really comfortable, and has very tasty food. The head waiter is excellent. We were only going to stay one night, then move up to Nazaré, but enjoyed it so much we stayed for a second night.

Fantastic location, helpful and friendly staff - particularly Ana who was always happy to assist with booking activities or queries. Great facilities, comfortable rooms and beds. I found the hotel to be very clean, and food to be of excellent quality at the restaurant. There are a plethora of activities to choose from (both relaxing and action packed). Overall I am highly impressed with RIDE Surf Resort and spa.
