This hotel is in a great location. We went for the Festa do Queijo and it was easy to walk to all of the events and literally just about everywhere in the town. It was only about a 10-15 minute walk from the bus station to the hotel so we never needed to call a taxi. The hotel also has a very nice hot tub and swimming pool which we used as well. It sure was nice to soak in the hot tub after a long day of walking, standing and tasting all of the local goodies!

Cristina was an amazing host. Very friendly and courteous. Every morning for breakfast, we enjoyed a basket with a variety of local products, that was brought to our door. We were also able to make requests at any time, which were dealt with immediately and got really nice recommendations of what to do in the area. The flat is located right by the stream and is perfect if you want to spend a peaceful and relaxing time in the nature. There is also a goat farm right next door, which can be visited, and the view from the apartment as well as the surrounding area is incredible beautiful. We were also able to use the bikes at any time, but a car is still recommended for travelling to the nearby villages and especially the nature reserve, which can both be reached in around 30 minutes. We really enjoyed our stay at Be Alva and would always come back!

Everything I read in previous reviews here was absolutely true. Every little piece is beautiful and made with love. Staying here is a fantastic experience! The views from the house are even more spectacular than on photos. On the territory you feel like in the middle of the nowhere, but the town with a lot of supermarkets is just in 3km.

We loved everything: the warm welcome, the explanations about the place, and the friendly hosts. It's a tastefully designed boutique hotel, with super clean and luxurious room. We liked absolutely everything about this stay. Some of the best staff I've seen working in a Hotel, always looking to make our experience more enjoyable. The hotel, its surroundings and the facilities are very well put together, the warm swimming pools are amazing to relax in, the walks by the river, etc.... The rooms are spacious and have all the necessary amenities as the photos show. Will surely come back.

The location is amazing and the atmosphere at the hotel is great! Perfect to relax as a couple, and also great for families (they have a kids room with toys, games, and even an inflatable!). Breakfast is really good as well, and all staff is SUPER FRIENDLY! We stayed at a superior room with a bath at the balcony and it was totally worth it!
