I wish we had been able to stay for longer as Monsanto is beautiful and our accommodation was really special. It was very clean, warm and comfortable, had all the facilities we needed, and was full of character and unique and thoughtful touches. We loved the patio and the views above and below.

What an amazing place - so much character. We had such a wonderful stay. The property was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Hosts were wonderful - really friendly and helpful. Met us at village parking and bags were taken to house in a wee electric car. Breakfast on the terrace was amazing. Wish we could have stayed longer.

A unique stay in a authentic house with all modern comforts. Wifi and airco are only second to the beauty of Monsanto. The hosts are simply the best. I was allowed to park my bike at the house, so that's a plus. Some scenes of house of the dragon were shot at Monsanto. It's a steal for the price. I have said it before, even for double the money it's still a steal! And the sunset is amazing. Oh yeah, the breakfast is fantastic. Still haven't booked it? Your loss.....

An absolute pleasure to stay here with super kind and relaxed hosts. Monsanto was our favourite town in Portugal and our wonderful and thoughtfully designed accommodation and kind hosts added enormously to our experience. The charming terrace was a wonderful place for breakfast or a drink. The sister restaurant also had a glorious terrace and excellent food. Highly recommended! Can't wait to return!
