We are super happy to have stayed in this peaceful and intimate place in the mountain for our last night in Portugal. We would have loved to stay there longer ! The family who owns this brand new hotel gave us the most warm welcome, making us feel at home right away. Stunning views and 100% relaxing vibes. super well equiped rooms, spotlessly clean, very confortable bed & pillows, heating system works to perfection (and it's rarely the case in this rather humid region !). The hotel produces it's own électricity, adds up to the positive feeling of this place. Coffee and tea accessible while chilling in the living room facing the mountains. Maggie left us a bottle of wine, home made soft drink & snacks to enjoy in the evening in the main room, very lovely gesture. Breakfast was absolutely perfect. We will definitely come back & tell all our friends about this perfect place . (Although we would prefer keeping it to ourselves :-) Thanks again for everything ✨ and all the best for you and Montalma !

I offered this weekend to my cousin (and husband), to celebrate her birthday. And they loved everything! The place in the middle of nature, the hotel with comfortable and clean accommodation, and the kindness and sensitivity of all the staff with whom we interacted during their stay. I prepaid a bouquet of flowers to be delivered on the birthday and the beautiful bouquet, with the congratulations card with my text - sent by email - they also loved. Ōku : My best Booking experience ! First of all, the place is gorgeous. Even more than in the pictures. The house is arrounding by nature, and i saw the best sunsets. The entrance is steep, but if you don't succeed to climb the ramp, there is a place where you can park your car before the property (what I did, so it's absolutly not a problem). The room I had was so huge and so cosy, with a view of nature and quiet, really relaxing. The kitchen is amazing, I had everything i needed to cook. Ōku is also a human experience, because Rita hosts people from all over the world. So it's the perfect place to meet really nice people. Rita is so kind, welcoming and caring. She did everything she could to make my stay perfect. I felt like at home. She has 2 adorable dogs Olivia and Oscar, who have so much love to give. In short, it was a wonderfull stay. My only regrets are not going for a swim in the pool and not staying longer. But I will come back ☺️.
