We stayed just one night before our flight. Our car rental was right next to the hotel. I liked their concept — you can bring your own dinner, there’s a place with plants where you can warm up food in the microwave, and you can enjoy free coffee and tea even in the evening. Breakfast was good. A nice hotel for a good price.

We recently stayed at this hotel and it exceeded our expectations! The host was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and cozy, making it feel like a home away from home. We really appreciated the kitchen in the room, which allowed us to prepare our own meals. The host kindly provided a bed and high chair for our child, making our stay even more convenient and family-friendly. The hotel was extremely quiet, ensuring a peaceful and restful stay. We also loved the charming inner courtyard where we could relax and enjoy some downtime after a day of exploring the city. In conclusion, this is one of the best hotels we've experienced. The exceptional hospitality, cleanliness, and comfort make it a top choice for any traveler. Highly recommended!

This hotel was a little gem. Our teenagers had one of the apartments and my husband and I had one of the double rooms on the ground floor. The space has been designed with great care and taste. We all felt immediately relaxed and comfortable. The staff were absolutely superb and the breakfasts were outstanding - everything on offer was delicious! Helena and Victoria were so kind and attentive - they ensured our breakfast-time was a wonderful way to start each day. Joao was there waiting with a friendly welcome and the offer of a glass of port after a late arrival from the airport - very much appreciated. Congratulations to Joao and Angela for this wonderful hotel and thank you for making our stay so special. A particular thank you to Angela for the wonderful suprise birthday cake!

Due to poor weather, a week in October, we couldn't get to explore and enjoy the local area as much as we would have liked. Matosinhos beach is fabulous, surfers out every day, but too cold and windy for swimming. Would consider returning again in summertime

Matosinhos is a good place to visit if you want a vibrant...

Matosinhos is a good place to visit if you want a vibrant neighbourhood near the sea. It’s not an holiday resort people live there it’s the type of place we like visiting. There are plenty of supermarkets, restaurants and cafes to suit your tastes. Public transport is good and plenty of opportunities to explore on foot.

good selection of food places, nice beach and when the sun shines cant go wrong really. Slightly disappointed the surf was not bigger and its a bit crowded for comfortable surfing. nice for a swim though !

Lovely area close to so many beaches and shopping and restaurants. Transportation was very easy - bus/cable car/ Uber - so easy to get around. And walking very easy for any level of fitness.

A haven for surfers and watching them.

A haven for surfers and watching them. Watching the sun set, stunning. Very quiet, lovely bar / cafes right on the beach and a very short walk to the local shops, restaurants. Ubers the best way to get around 3-5 Euro for 30 mins into main city Porto. Highly recommend the Majestic in Porto and then walk down to the river in Porto, loads of things to see and do. Can imagine it much busier in summer. Loved it.

Plenty of places to visit to eat.

Plenty of places to visit to eat. FC Porto and Sea Life Porto is very close by. It is easy to get around Matosinhos. The guests I booked in were there for work and so they didn't visit any activities but were actually setting up Sea Life which they enjoyed.

Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. Hotel was spotless. Good location for the camino, take the metro from the Airport, change at Sanhore de Hora to Matosinhos, only a few meters from metro stop. Excellent breakfast.

Comfortable hotel just a few km away from Porto airport. As we had an early flight we stayed only one night and did not have a chance to try the breakfast. The hotel staff was very firnedly and parking was easy.
